UT3 is a good game but despite technical advancements not a step forward

compared to UT2K4. Its not the next evolutionäry step in arena-fps for pc that

most fans had high hopes for but a crossplatformer focussed on consoles.

Compared to the former version UT3 is - for the pc-gamer - a way less attractive

package.

- Graphics are too blurry (Bring my eyes to tears)

- There is no custom weapon crosshair (One of the coolest thing from Unreal Tournament 2004)

- Actually there is 75% less Customization then Unreal Tournament 2004

- Mission 3 "Flag is this Flag is that" its not funny its ruining the game Story like that just ruin the game Quake 3 have better story. you ask why? because its fun it does not make the game worse like this does... I must say I have all original Unreal Tournament series but this one.

love playing this game on the PS3. Note that there ARE new game types now, betrayal, greed and titans. Also the PS3 mod browser is fully up and running these days. rocks...

As a matter of fact yes gamman. I bought the game about a month ago dirt cheap at game stop and so far deathmatch always has a decent amount of players but don't know about ctf or the other online game modes since I haven't been yet. All in all ut3 is a fantastic game and don't get bored at all playing it to this day. It's a shame that it's so underrated. 5/5 in my book.

It should run pretty dewscently seeing as i have a 256 mb 8400gs and can run it all on high 800by 600

I have a 8400gs and I can run it at (i think) 1024 by something else (sorry cant remember) and some of the settings tweaked to med. quality, and it runs fine. Online, it has a few moments of lag, but they don't happen too frequently. I swear to god, I'm still questioning how the Epic Games could have made this game with such little lag...this game is truly one of the best games of all time.

i bought this for the pc and the optimization is really alot btter than GOW. I can play this on a laptop with a geforce 7000m 3gb ram and amd dual core 1.8 ghz at a descent 20-30fps on lowest settings so it can be played on pretty low end machines^^

On the pc, this game has a fps limiter (63) :S

I play it maxed out on max fps on 4850 1 gig and Q6600 and 4 gig.

But on my 9400, it was playable too, so its true... its really for all pc the pc's :D

The 360 version (which I actually own) doesn't have as much DLC as the other versions, an it doesn't support user created content, like the PS3 and PC versions do. But it's still an incredibly fun game.

Also got UT3, fast framerate, good graphics, just perfect. only con is that there r not much maps on offer in the standard version.
