Bought this guitar a couple months ago and it was the best
600 I've spent... Its very comfortable and not too heavy at all, the neck plays fast and the action is nice and low so there's not much needed effort to fret the strings. The EMG pickups are amazing, and when played a loud volumes, sounds extremely heavy and crunchy. The Floyd ...

@sooner91 Personally, I got this guitar because of the bat inlays. If u play nothing but metal u would probably like the active pickups more because that's what they were made for. Passives can do the job as well depending on what amp u use and how it's set up plus they are more versatile with different sounds and tones. Check out the vid "Electric Guitar Pickups: Active vs. Passive" for a more detailed explanation.
@Bazzabazeman: Stays in tune very well. My only gripe is that I have to give the fr a quick pull after dives to get it back in tune cause it sticks in a position that leaves it a little out of tune until i pull on the bar real quick. Could be the licenced fr or something simple to fix that I never looked into yet. Yours might come with a better quality FR. Hope this helps.

Do you prefer active or passive pickups? I really want this guitar but the passive pickups kind of stop me from purchasing this guitar.

The only thing I don't like is the licensed FR. because when
I divebomb it never fully sets back in place to keep strings in tune
unless i give it a quick pull. Not sure wut kind of system urs comes
with. Other than that I love it. I probably just gotta tweak it or something.
