  • i found you through estée, essiebutton! i love your videos!

    -sarah

  • @mercipaige I haven't tried either of those but I have heard from others that the NARS powder foundation is really light coverage. I think legallybrunette214 has tried both so she might be a good person to ask.

  • great summer favourites christiana! :) love them! xxx

  • how long did your laura mercier tinted moisturizer last you? since you said you didnt have much left :) i'm considering getting the OF one too because i got a sample from nordstroms and fell in looove :)

  • @BDuarte68 Oh no I still have a lot left. I don't use it every day or anything so it's hard for me to say how long it will last but it comes in a larger tube than most foundations and I use roughly the same amount so I would say at least as long as a typical foundation if not longer.

  • Just watched this again and enjoyed it even more. I can tell how much thought and integrity went into this video, not just blah blah. Excellent video hun xoxo

  • @daisynation Thanks Daisy! PS I responded to your message on twitter. <333

  • I love that this is called superlatives now – i hate the word 'besties' I mean, are we 12? :P Oh dude, Virgin Isle is just stuntastic!! Interesting you showed that hair product – it never even occurred to me to use anything with SPF in it for my hair! I am such an SPF nut I fee like I have been missing out! :) xxx

  • @denizandmakeup Hahaha I think the girl who created the tag is 14 or something so I'll let it slide. Virgin isle looks even nicer in person than it did in this video. For some reason it looked super orange here but it's a lot more coral and flattering in person. It would look amazing on you! I'm not sure if SPF is necessary or even effective for hair and I don't dye my hair or anything so I'm not worried about fading but I figure might as well be safe rather than sorry. xoxox

  • I bought the oil-free LM tinted moisturizer by accident last summer, and I meant to buy the regular kind. We wear the same color, too. We should go back in time and switch! I actually think I prefer the oil free version, and I have had no issues with breaking out. xoxo

  • @apeelingaustin How weird! I've heard a lot of people say they prefer the oil free version. I've tried the oil free version in the store and I like the consistency and finish a lot better.

    xoxo

  • Sephora in Scarborough,(Toronto) is giving Jack Black two lip balms as a free gift in your b-day month.I can't wait to try them:)

  • @JuicyJuice1313 I hope they give them out here too! I've never been too impressed with the Sephora birthday gifts but I would love it if I got the lip balms. (:

  • U should try Essies "cute as a button", I think thats more the watermelon color you're looking for.

  • @sagchick12 Thanks for the recommendation! (:

  • sell that Neutrogena SPF 100 in the UK. BUT I'd love to try that. Hmm. ANND I need a maxi dress. I just can't bother to hem it and I would absolutely HAVE to hem it! <333333 xxx Much love to you!

  • @essiebutton I think you might find the Neutrogena spf a little bit too mattifying because I have oily skin and even I think it's too mattifying. I'm a weird oily skin girl though and I prefer products made for dry skin.

I was so lucky with this maxi dress. It was super cheap from Forever 21 and it's oddly the perfect length for me and I'm 5'6" so I would have expected it to be really long.

    xoxoxo

  • yo, gurl. -I used to hate coral, too but for some reason I've really started liking it! Maybe we're growing up AH! I'm seriously dying to try the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. I have a love hate relationship with tinted moisturizers. Is porcelain really light? because that's half the battle for me (finding a product that's light enough for my skin)! I wear blue eyeliner a lot during summertime too! (IDK if you watch the hills, but I loved when Stephanie Pratt wore it)! I don't think they...

  • @essiebutton Noooo! I refuse to grow up haha.

It's a bit dark but it still works because it's a lot sheerer than a foundation would be. If you want an exact match though it won't work. I think it's probably around NW15/20 so it's like 2 shades too dark for me but I lighten it up a bit with my setting powder.

Blue eyeliner always looked amazing on Stephanie Pratt! I completely forgot about that!

  • I just subscribed. I am really impressed with your taste in cosmetics, your range of likes, and the fact that despite your "quiet" nature on this video, you were bold enough to change a question to suit you better....loved that. Oh, and your thinking behind jewelry is similar to mine. I wear very few items, but they are all high end and classic pieces.

Well, going to have a look at your previous videos and looking forward to what you have to offer. Thanks for your time!

  • @dvonhusen Thank you! This was such a nice comment to read! <3

  • Oooh good idea changing the question to summer perfume! I was a bit stuck on the accessory question as well. I love a lot of these favourites that you mentioned. That blue eyeliner looks amazing. ANNND I STILL WANT THAT HOODIE! I actually e-mailed Lululemon to see if they would be getting it back in stock anytime soon! Thanks for your kind words Christiana, you're a doll! xo

  • @lauraraelynn I hope they get it back in stock soon! Then we can be twins haha. It's seriously my favourite clothing piece right now and I wear it all the time. I want to get another one in a different colour.

    <3

  • You always astound me with your exquisite taste. Essie makes great coral/orange/reds. I feel the same way as you do about jewelry - I prefer to spend money on something that is really special and classic rather than something cheap that will break.

You look beautiful as always. <3

  • @melusinafire Thanks my dear. I've been wanting to buy a Tiffany necklace like the one you have for the longest time. I also want one of their keys but even though I like nice jewellery I have a hard time justifying expensive purchases even if I'll wear them all the time. It doesn't really make any sense haha.

  • @cosmeticjunkie17 I know what you mean! My necklace was a graduation present that I picked out. I adore it, but I really don't know if I would have been able to purchase it myself. I honestly have trouble spending any amount of money most of the time. Haha.
