On a side note, impressive job carrying a compass, a stopwatch, and a carbine all at the same time so you can see them while making a constant mental diagnostic of your health and rating it on a scale of one to one-hundred. Most of our troops can only walk down predescribed paths and spay infinate bullets at each other.

People say Call of Duty 2 is better. Bullshit, in CoD2 every mission is just killing/defending from waves of enemies. The stages are repetitive and boring as hell. Here, in CoD1 you have the standard 'just go forward' ones, the epic Stalingrad-like ones, the one man army ones (battleship and dam) couple of driving stages (well sort of) and a lot more. Sorry for my shitty English, it's late here and I'm kinda tired.

agreed, it was a total radical change to the FPS series, rather than being a super-soldier the person is a regular in the army focusing more on the realism of combat in the regular infantry joe.

Call of Duty 2 may have been better due to its graphical enchance and better overall but this one started it all.
