Vector fails. Those asses scam the shit out of people, specifically their employees. You have to be crooked and willing to sell you grandma to even move up the latter.
i think its funny all the haters, they are such idiots. they dont even know what the job is about. it really isnt a scam when i make a shit ton of money currently as a rep, you do not need to buy a sample kit hell they do not even ask for money. i am single handedly paying for college with real money from this job. get your facts straight. this is the best job a high school grad could get aside from porn
Vector Marketing Corporation is a SCAM. They hire anyone that applies to work for them. If hire, you'll had to pay about $300 to buy a set of knives. And that is how they profit. They hire anyone that applies to work for them then make them buy their knives. Imagine trying to sell what you had to sell when competing against hundreds of others who are who are doing the same thing you're doing. Google "Vector Marketing" SCAM, and there'll be 56,000 results. Vector Marketing is indeed a SCAM.
@zeratul2008 foreal i live in austin, texas and they sent me a letter in the mail today and since i just graduated high school they sent me an appilication letter for me to apply should i do it
@JeremyATX haha don't do it. this is a scam for high school grads and college students..trust me i learned the hard way..after i paid almost 200 for my sales kit..sold to my mama and grandma hundred dollar knives...got a 40 dollar check for it...and that was it.. hahaha bunch of bastards...they make the money off of u..u dont make shit
@JeremyATX i gotta buddy doing this and im about to give it a shot. he MAKES money. and the knive set that you can buy IF YOU WANT TO is only 140 and you dont even have to buy it. you can put the 140 down as a deposit and return the knives for all the money back. and yea, i looked that scam thing up on the internet and its nowhere near those people make it sound. but some people just suck at being a salesman. the trainings free and you can quit whenever. why not try it?

Vector is a scam, they are misleading, tell you to lie, and they tell you that you will make a bunch of money but the job is commission only, plus they make you pay out of your own pocket for your own set of knives for demonstration. They target college kids and will basically hire anyone and they make you feel good about yourself just so you will be a salesman for them
Just google the company and you will read hundreds of pages of scams Vector has pulled
@BboyRobbo707 I'm glad that there are still people who give thoughtful, well-thought out reasons before they say caustic, derogatory things....oh, wait a minute...that's the OPPOSITE of what you did! Never mind.
to video my phone and show the text conversation and people will be able to see how unprofessional and how mad he got for me asking a question that I didn't even ask him.
Yea, I worked there too for about a week when I asked the guy who trained me about a few of the suspicious parts about getting hired like why I was the only one in a suit when on the phone they said wear business attire. Well that ended with my manager calling so I went ahead and said this is a scam and I quit. He told me I wasn't good at it, I wasn't professional(he was tellin me the day before about management)he then proceeded to text me lots of pretty terrible things and I'm probly going
It's not based on how much time you spend. It's about what you accomplish. I've had days working this job where I made $377 in 4 hours of work, and days where I've made $50 in 7 hours.. as long as you keep at it, the money just builds higher and higher.
I've been doing this job for over 4 months now and I've sold over 15000 worth of cutlery so far. I'd say about 5% of my sales came from direct family and close friend's (parents), 25% of my business came from people I've been associated with in the past, and the remaining 70% have been through recommendations. This is how any standard business works man. It's time to suck it up and realize... this isn't an easy job but it's an amazing opportunity if you're willing to do it instead of whine.
yeah, i just started and ive only sold 1 set to my family lol, most of my sales have come from people ive never met before, but got through recs. The people who only get sales from their families are doing it wrong.
Ps. I'm a smart guy man. I don't waste my time on bullshit. I've never been happier in my life than I have been since I started this job and really found a job I became passionate about. I bet you are someone who hates his job. I don't look at what I do as work. I see it as a challenge and a development experience where I make a ton of money when I put in more effort. Just stop trying to pick apart things you clearly don't fully understand.
@jglasspoole you're crazy, get a real job.. you're an annoying ass door to door salesman of knives some dumbfuck just handed you for $150. You're just a tool in their retarded as company. i hope you find out soon.I was promoted to a manager and they told me that I would make money for tricking college students to get this "job". If i got a certain amount of retards in a week, i got a bonus. you just don't know how it works. I quit that stupid shit. I'm not about deceiving.
@layster Your grammar and word choice tell us a great deal about you. I sincerely doubt that you were ever even close to being considered for management, and it is clear that you don't know what you're talking about.
for all the vector commentors...all i've got to say is it depends on the manager and how they run their office as to whether it is shady or not. good managers run their office professionally and efficiently. bad managers dont. end of story.
i know a lot of those people and we have a ton of fun!
