@roalziroalzi man all the big ones back the and now were/are...Dylan just writes and sings stuff you wanna sing and cover and study.. famous or not :) -cheers-
@TheRavensFan1231 That's right Fuck the Steelers. Because they keep beating the Ravens, and the clock keeps ticking for the murderer. Hear that? TICK TOCK TICK TOCK. Ray is getting Older. Doesn't matter what lead the Ravens have. The Steelers will win the playoff game because they always have. You're still fucking Cleveland in a grape uniform. Dylan was great, but be serious. No way he was "beter". Just like the Ravens aren't "beter".
@TheRavensFan1231 The Ravens can kill the Steelers? Then why don't they do it? Dylan has a better shot at getting a Super Bowl ring than Ray Ray! Smoke another doobie, son! Your Ravens will always be the team from Cleveland, and always be the team that the Steelers spank on the way to the Super Bowl. DIG IT
An amazing performance by the King when his song selection was hampered by those God awful movies he was doing. You can tell on some of those songs that he was just going through the motions, but on this one, he felt it and sang it from his very soul.
Elvis, the Picasso of music, has spoken via the words of the great Bob Dylan. Elvis voice has this magic blend of aching sincerity, yearning, incredible soulfulness, aching sincerity, depth, and span.
I like this version of the song well enough ... Of course I like Dylan's own version of the song----but, for my money--the best version of this song was done by Ian and Sylvia years ago. I guess it was because it was the first time I'd heard the song and I listened to it a good bit at the time. It's amazing about Dylan---there's so much music out there that he's written ... and the man's still writing some great stuff after all this time. The joker is a genius, sure nuff...
Dylan was so chuffed Elvis recorded his songs..Elvis was really switched on musically ..it's a shame parker held him back ..Elvis had his finger on the pulse during the 60's thats why he was fustrated with recording poor music for some of his films..RESPECT TO ELVIS and Thanx Bob Dylan for inspiring Elvis to sing better material.
Part true, I think. He said in a Rolling Stone interview that it was his favourite recording, meaning his favourite recording by another performer:
WENNER:
Are there any particular artists that you like to see do your songs?
DYLAN:
Yeah, Elvis Presley. I liked Elvis Presley. Elvis Presley recorded a song of mine. That’s the one recording I treasure the most. It was called “Tomorrow Is A Long Time.” I wrote it but never recorded it.
What a lovely song. Its amazing that Parker never had the knowledge of what music was all he knew was how to get a naive young man to sign away his life to him. and so ELVIS did. Then he took more money then anyone did and the love of Elvis's life. She was by the way BLONDE and has never been interviewed and remains a mystery to this day. I think I may know he but maybe not. It dosen't make any difference now he's gone and she may be too. but he loved HER.
i went to the OLD american legion dance hall on 1985 to see the original sun rythm section perform. i saw a crowd in the back so i looked and i saw bob dylan with his bodyguard just watching the show. i nodded at him and i walked away. cstanchik
This song was in The Outsiders(: <3

Rolling Stones -- take a look at this -- maybe Dylan's best and maybe Elvis's best. Man this song is freaky good.
