  • Anouncers voice is shit..

    it really 'grinds my gears'.

  • hahaha the camera manat the end

  • 5 hours later...

  • Actually, many cheap mirrors ARE made with aluminium. They actually corrode less quickly than silver because of a process called passivation.

I'm also cringing that this video says that carbide is a "strong metal". It's full name is tungsten carbide, and is a compound.

  • 5:34, cameramen! :D

  • Never heard more annoying voice.

  • @TheRealGeriBoss I think that was Jar Jar Binks narrating this!

  • Can't use aluminum. Oxidizes after awhile

  • There must be alot of cuts.

  • these puns

  • They should use aluminum not silver.

  • thumbs up if 0.37 makes you think of an alien :)

  • I couldn't help but cringe when that worker touched the freshly manufactured mirror panel with his hands...

  • rate this comment if you went to the female condim video, watched it, said to yourself "humanity is dumb" and returned back here

  • Tin, silver, and copper. Nice.

  • I've never heard this person doing the voice over for How It's Made...

  • @dreammaker182 She escaped from the kitchen!

  • 4:02 -cringes as he puts his dirty fingers on that perfectly clean new mirror-

  • I made a mirror at science camp

  • they cut out and break the mirror everyday... bad luck for infinity years.... :p

  • OMG.. fire whoever hired this narrator... bring back the guy's voice.

  • No offense to this narrator, but the male narrator's voice is just a lot easier to listen to. Almost soothing in a way.

  • Watching the videos using up all my getting mad looks from my family..

  • if a woman worked in the factory, thigs would never get done..they'd be like

Manager- Hey, Shirlee! are you done checking the mirrors for scratches?

shirlee- one more minute! i need to fix my mascara!

  • The guy is better much more mellow voice. Shes trying to hard

  • This narrator should kill herself. I got so agitated trying to listen to her speak like an old woman.

  • Yea thanks for stereotyping every single teenager out there....

  • XD you right. lol. u would get super confused. XD

  • Must be crazy to work in a company like that... u'd be running into mirrors all the time... or getting mind fuked and not being able to find your office because there's a mirror infront of it...

  • LOL 4:43 "Using special tools..." You mean pliers?

  • I misread the title.. "Minors". WTF! :D

  • lets REFLECT on the history of mirrors...... -____-

  • why does this show have so bad narrators? first that douche i want to slap in the face and now a yelling bitch

  • That was trippu

  • WHY IS THE NARRATOR YELLING?!

  • Tin, silver, and copper in liquified form? Come on, do you think the Americans will freak out and change the channel if they hear anything about chemistry? Maybe so...

  • @justonium So much determination doe!

  • @justonium The writer of the script and the narrator have no clue how mirrors are made...

  • where's the part that adds the bad luck when it breaks and can you kill a werewolf whith a shattered peice with the silver coating :P

  • I don't like this one, you can't even see the glass...

  • Mirror, mirror, on the wall, how do they make you after all? :DD

  • What do they do with the excess mirror?

  • @Beatles1717

The probably recycle it to make more mirrors.

  • finally, we can see the camera man

  • @666husar Shes Canadian.

  • Wow who knew. :D

  • its a special kind of pliers

  • 4:08-

That mirror was SO CLEAN, and SO FLAWLESS until that dude got his grubby mits all over it.

  • This woman sounds like she is REALLY angry but try to sound nice

  • THIS WOMAN IS SOOOOOOOO ANNOYING

  • This chick is so annoying.

  • Special tools are used to seperate the squares into circles

    Pliers....

  • @randsome948 No, i think they mean making the circular cut into each square. Not clip it away.

  • @randsome948 EXACTLY what I thought.

This bitch gets on my tits.

  • @randsome948 well, pliers are very special to me XD

  • Carbide Metal........?? mmoouuuuu

  • shes Canadian

  • "Special tools to separate the squares into circles" you mean pliers? Lol

  • "carbide is a strong metal"

    carbide - metal

    NOPE

  • at 4:08 the guy comes to inspect this pristine mirror, only to smug the shit out of it by touching it with his bare hands.

  • I'm guessing women and homosexuals are not employed at a mirror factory for productivity reasons.

  • they could use that shit to clean my windows

  • Uuumm.... Why is, "How to use a female condom" in the related videos?

  • @uberkewlmedia idk, but im gonna watch it!

  • @uberkewlmedia I dunno, But i watched it XD

  • @uberkewlmedia YouTube does that sometimes. IDK why.

  • @uberkewlmedia cause there is a related video how condoms are made :)

  • @uberkewlmedia when something has 2 million views its related to anything.

  • LOL at the thought of an earthquake happening at this place...

  • don't you like how they draw the cartoons with just a single stroke...

  • every 10 seconds of this video looks excatly the same

  • *smashes bedroom mirror for scrap silver*

  • i hate her fuckin voice

  • amazing,so enjoyable show!!!

  • WHY IS THE NARRATOR YELLING AT ME.

  • 5:33...Hye Derr!!!

  • Narrarator: "it starts out as clear glass"

noo get out you must be bullshitting me. last time i checked glass was opaque

  • @kindpotato Hm... Opaque means not see through. I'm pretty sure glass is clear.

  • omg just get a furnace put some coal and glass and done perfect and not scrathed glass!

  • 4:00 that dude gets paid to stare at himself all day.

  • wow

  • what about the meso-americans that made mirrors from obsidian?

  • Not this ladies voice again...

  • Her voice makes me want to poke a pencil in my eye -_-

  • but will it blend?

  • Steel Baaawwwlllss.

  • I still prefer the male narrator... at least he isn't as annoying.

  • lol i busted out laughing at the end

  • helooooo camera man!!!!!!!!!!

  • "They're even mentioned in the Bible". Bitch they were around 1000 years before that.

  • @GildedWildebeest DO YOU HAVE A WAY TO PROBE THAT, OR YOU JUST SEE ANOTHER YOU TUBE VIDEO WHO SAY THAT, JUST WONDERING NOTHING PERSONAL

  • @ELFARAONCB2 The Mycenaeans (c. 12th century BC) used polished bronze mirrors. I can't cite my sources because my Mycenaean textbooks are 50 miles away.

  • @GildedWildebeest OK THEN SO THIS MEANS YOU HAVE NOT PROOF O F THAT THEN, SO LIKE I SAY NOBODY HAVE A PROOF OF THAT THE MIRRORS WERE 1000 YEARS OLD OR MORE, AND ALL IS ONLY A THEORY RIGHT, HAVE A GREAT LIFE ADIOS

  • double u double u double u

  • @CADtekk i totally agree though i'm a female, not a women, yet though. Cuz all they do is spend time looking in the mirror. probably not all, and if they do employ my cousin, they will sure lose money because of the slow production of mirror as whenever she sees a mirror she'll be inspecting every part of her body and not the mirror.

  • you know you did something right in life when there's a guy to push you around while you film...

  • I HATE her voice.

Sorry. I had to say it.

  • carbide is a strong metal?

  • @makakui one of the strongest. its used to cut diamond and Tungstin carbide used in bullets create armor piercing rounds

  • You can see the camera man at the end.

  • @realwarrior250 I didn't notice. o_o

  • I love how they spend so much time and money washing the mirror oils and stuff. Then the inspection guy comes in and touches it with his bare hand and probably leave finger prints on it.

  • @Alikkatz IKR THAT PISSED ME OFF LOL.

  • @Alikkatz They clean the surface where silver is applied BEFORE applying it. After all is done, it doesn't matter if they splash a can of oil on it because its all finished and ready to ship. It would only be a dirty mirror then instead of being a waste of glass, silver, copper and adhesives.

  • Steve Jobs is dead.

  • @Gunner3210 xD that was just gold and sadness :(

  • thumbs up if the narrator sounds boringly weird

  • I hate her voice so much. Brooks Moore makes the american version of this show amazing.

  • @CADtekk Sexist ass

  • I know how to make a mirror.. But first . i need a furnace and some coal and sand.

  • Yeah ummm how it's made call of duty

  • PLEASE

    STOP TALKING

  • everyone has twin at the mirror factory.

  • Comment removed

  • man this video was boring as hell..glad i inhertied money from my rich ex husband so i dont have to bother doing this crap later on in my life

  • I'm just curious.. How did the glass panel not shatter when it drops down to the conveyer belt right at the beginning? I understand that it'd be cushioned but the impact doesn't seem small at all especially for such a big plane of glass..

  • @TearsOfSnow the holes on the conveyor top are spraying air up, like an air hockey table, this creates a cushion when the glass falls, the air cannot escape fast enough and slows down the glass to a safe landing.

  • @fatheadedjake Mmm... I see. Thanks. XD

  • once you realise that a mirror is just glass and metals, the entire "7 years bad luck" thing falls apart

  • metal can cut glas?! :( wheres the diamond?!

  • @Xentozz in this case they are just scoring the glass to be snapped apart, but using water, you can grind glass to a desired shape while exersizing extreme caution. you should look up flame working, glass blowing, or stained glass work, but be careful, getting into that kind of work is considered an "addiction". I never understood that, flamework is how I make my money, and support a family. back to the cutting of glass, when using a torch, I often use shears to cut glass while its white hot!!!

  • the second she said "lets REFLECT on the history of mirrors" i was done. next.

  • @CADtekk lol if i worked there i would get terrified each time i look at the mirror

  • Narrator: "USING SPECIAL TOOLS" *using pliers*

  • @lookbehindyousuka theyre actually not pliers...their specifically made for cutting glass...

  • @FuDgEBuBbLeZ the glass was already cut the "special tools" were only for separating the pieces.

  • @lookbehindyousuka ha ha!

  • they should make a how its made on how its made

  • I SAW THEM

  • Lol 5:32 somebody didn't think this one through.

  • I can't see myself ever working there ...couldn't resist that lame attempt at humour!

  • 9 people are ugly

  • @TheShamiester

No, I'm pretty sure they were just annoyed by the narrator

  • the guy at 4:00 must love himself

  • I think CDs are made in a similar way

  • carbide is not a metal.

  • @CADtekk sexist..............

  • Narrator, narrator on the tele, please shut up and let us watch the programe. Blimey, it does not have to rhyme!

  • Bloody narrator!

  • the only shit thing is the voice of the narrator...-_______-

  • wow it prolly sucked that ucouldnt find out what you look like before mirrors were invented

  • @christiaNNightwolf you can look at yourself in the water and the eyeballs of other people reflect you from silver jewerly or chromed armory gives reflection too

  • sucks bitch

  • :O my life....is now completed!

  • @xXSqurrillyAdamsXx Haha so cute

  • THE MOST ANNOYING BITCH EVER

  • 4:10 they cut the mirrors with a special mirror cutting machine? Wow!

  • this narrorator likes to gag on dick

  • i lost you at 1:32

  • How it's made, How it's made

    Inception.

  • @TheStuartWallace My Mind Has Been Blown

  • Lets reflect on the matter ha ha go burn your self

  • @CADtekk fuck no!!!

  • why not dimond

  • @CoolKillerClan too expensive.

  • kool... i always wanted to see these modern day techniques

  • Why does the guy at 4:00 put his nasty fingerprints on a perfectly clean mirror?

  • in which episode was this ?

  • They must have soooooo many years of bad luck!!!

  • @glob12569 I think if they are making them, they are exempt from that rule.

  • I never think of how do you make mirror but i usually found it at Google and clicked it...

  • I wanted to see the glass being made too. :(
