I got the deluxe edition of the album with two bonus tracks "Echo" and "Living proof " which bumps up the score to 8/10 for me its nothing like the Bad Meets Evil from The Slim Shady LP but it was better than hearing pop rap garbage from encore and relapse or recovery at that matter
I actually would give this album an 8/10. Even though The Reunion and Lighters suck. Above the Law, A Kiss, Fast Lanes, Welcome 2 Hell, and Loud Noises were all fantastic songs. Solid Album
Muse, You actually didn't review this EP, you only talked about is lighters and the Concept i wish you could do a full review of all the songs in this EP.
It's from the Slim Shady LP, which sold over 4,000,000 copies, its not that rare of a find. We're not talking like, Olive Us To Olive You, Catch 22, The Van, Number One, Firecracker, or A Retarted Kid Named Greg. Bad Meets Evil is a well known song. I'm not trting to imply this, but if you're trying to be a loyal "stan" you should try a little harder.
@ShadyRepublican Ah I miss old Eminem. Granted I still like his newer stuff (feature spot on Forever onwards) he just does not have the same personality he used to. It just seems like he using backup intrest from his older LP's to keep me invested in his newer stuff. However there ar a few songs on Recovery that keep me invested on their own and same goes for this EP. Royce just keeps me naturally invested. Probably why I liked Street Hop and Succes is Certain over Relapse and Encore.
Yeah Lighter is a bullshit ass song. No one can related to it either, its a song only for those two to get their "Yeah, we made it, incase you didnt realize, so fuck you" in. Which makes it a boring song... and Bruno Mars sucks.
i really miss slim shady from back in the day. right now, he doesnt speak or float in the air wrapped in a sheet, he's a real person and not a ghost trapped in a beat
I agree with your views but i like what you did in the past with having a track by track or at least most of them review but in this you went into detail on like 1 song i expected a more in detail review man
@DrGnockerz Not all rappers are the same. You have your gangster rappers and you have dictionary rappers that actually have something good to rap about other than money.
i can see what yer going with its not a bad i enjoyed im on everything & take from me but eminem has really lost his edge now he just uses the flow from forever ever since it worked once but not all the time
great review as always! i wish Eminem would listen to you mues all he needs is oldschool beats and to stop singing or having other shitty pop musicians sing on his tracks. he could take mainstream rap in a different direction,
I can't wait to hear what he says about the song with Bruno Mars. I like Bruno Mars, but I gotta admit, putting him on a song with Eminem and Royce made em soft. Too soft.

dude, theres "a kiss", "the reunion", and so on. but i hate "lighters" too, its so gay. i'd rate a 8 out of 10. min-used marks cause of lighters.
Edbuoy44 6 months ago
i wonder how many people actually know that the cowboys speech is in a song from the 90s
ortegaatr2 6 months ago
Wait but didn't you give Recovery like 5/10 and Hell gets only a slightly higher score of 6/10, that doesn't make much sense.

It's too bad that you don't like Tinie Tempah and B.O.B. I think that they are both great artists making rap good again.
