jkay has said on his site that his new album will have a "live" sound to it, does this mean the new album will a rough rushed album with no effort put into it?

I could make out some of the lyrics...think I heard him mention the war and overall the lyrics remind me very much of Jamiroquai's earlier stuff like Emergency on Planet Earth.
