i agree that smashbox shadows are the worst that i ever tried for the money that i paid....i really hate them bcos the colours don't show eg; green, blue, purple looks greyish/black or turn grey/black on my olive skin.

don't think you used the heater lash curler correctly, you're not supposed to brush it through, you press up at the roots for 5-10 seconds

I got that exact same Eyelure heated lash curler and I love it. Initially I thought it was rubbish, but then thought maybe I was doing it wrong. I watched some youtube tutorials on how to do it (you have to press against the lashes for about 10 seconds where you want curl, not stroke it like a mascara wand) and now it's my favourite beauty tool.

Can I ask you a question? I have purchased 8 of the MUFE over the past 2 years which I know is ridiculous but you are so correct about them not lasting very long. What I would like to know is can you think of another mascara that is as fantastic? I waste so much money trying to find a product that is as good.Or has such an amazing brush. its hard for me to imagine that Inglot is so expensive in other countries! I've heard that single eyeshadow (refill) in US costs 10 $! that's 3 times more than in Poland! here its about 3$. pencil eyeliners are about 5$. that is REALLY CHEAP! and the quality of Ingolt eyeshadows? amazing. I love them more than I love the MAC ones. they are quite expensive here. about 20$ ,

Have you tried Inglot's Gel liners???....I find that they smear (at least on me). i mean, when i put it on it looks perfect but after 3-4 hours it smears badly. The outside corner on the upper lash line ends up on my lower lash line.

Oh, I didn't know you can buy Inglot products in UK, where do you buy them? It is a quite popular brand back home (Poland) but some products are just rubbish. Eye shadows are all right, lipsticks as well but eye pencils and eye liners are completely useless. And I highly recommend their loose powders, hilighters and bronzers- they are really really good.

Ps I've been watching different make up artists on youtube and you're the best, very professional, honest and helpful.

we have a sephora like store here, that used to sell urban decay but then dropped it and switched to smash box, and you're absolutely right all smash box eye shadows are just really bad, chalky, hard to blend, you're better off with maybelline or covergirl.

I love the heated eyelash curler!!

However, I don't just brush it up my lashes, I find it works great if you hold it at the base of your lashes for a few seconds, then move it up a tiny bit, holding for a few seconds again until you reach the end of your lashes, almost like you can do with a regular eyelash curler. :)

I speak from experience that Smashbox makes amazing single shadows; smooth, creamy and soft. I have no idea why that palette is crap or why they change their shadow formula for something lesser in palettes. It really is an ill choice on their point to represent their shadows that way, because their single pot shadows are really some of my favorites.

I couldn't agree more. Smashbox works only for pale skin with pink undertones. I am a Caucasian woman, however I have olive skin ( lots of yellow undertones ) and I'd rather use maybeline than smashbox !

With regards to the heated eyelash curler, i find that they work best when you actually use them after your mascara has dried and that you don't brush it through your lashes like mascara. You have to kind of hold it against your lashes and slowly move your way up from the lash line to the tips - hope it works better for you.

I bought NYX brown/brunette eyebrow powder duo..and I have to say.. i love it..

I only use the..dark brown one..

It is such a nice texture..and finish..

If they make their e/s's like they do this brow kit..the e/s's would be perfect..
