I know that it was written by Ravel...but this violinist does not play Ravel..He plays I think Ara Malikian's piece :) ( something like : improvisation for a theme which wrote Ravel ) but it is not Ravel...in this video I see much artist's ego.But not the form by Ravel.

I think that's some fine fiddlin'. Some of the structure and harmonies remind me of the Debussy Quartets. This is more sparse and has more browns and greys, not quite Bela-esque, but a few of those colors.
