well I´m german and I never saw this hairstyle on anyone. maybe it is something from the past lol. Anyways this seems to be a very cute hairstyle for little girls :-) thank you for all your tutorials, I just loooooooooove them!
My german mother calls this style "monkey swings" Because a monkey could sit and swing in them. That's what they called them when she was a child. I've got two nieces now and when they want to look nice for church or a birthday party they ask me to do monkey swings ...
"No", we don't wear this hairstyle in our normal everyday life. Maybe in bavaria for the october feast (or however it is called in english). You may wear this with a traditional dress or very loose, which looks kind of stylish and appropriate while not being too rigorous.
Ok! I had to wear this to school everyday, and that means from 7am till about 5-6PM! So my perfectly straight hair ended up being wavy all the time! LOLZ....... I had to wait till vacays for it to get normal again!
Why is that? Where do you live that you HAVE to wear it? *oh, just saw that you're from India, right? Yeah, I understand, of course your hair get wavy! xD How long does it then take to get your hair straight again? just a few days?
Well i have very straight hair. So it gets straight imm. But a few friends have ended up with curly hair, it has to grow out......... We have to wear it to school!
I was wondering: do you have any idea how to do a French braided headband? I get the general concept and I keep trying, but I just cannot make it look good.
for a crown braid : divide ur hair in four peices and put one of the front part in an elastic then start dutch braiding from the back of that section around ur head. it gets complicated when u get to the ear but if u can get someone to hold it for it its key. u basically have 2 switch hands when u get there. then keep braiding, undo the elastic part and keep braiding then when uve done a full circle just regular braid the rest and pin!!!
Maybe someday you could try Leia's bun do from Star Wars. That would be great. This one you did now also looks like the one she had in Empire. Thank you for all you do.
If you saw the amount of keilbasa, "wursts" and sauerkraut they go through, you'd totally understand. LMAO. It's so funny half of my family take after my Gram and are very Native American (dark hair, dark eyes, tiny boned) and the other half got my Pap's genes- light eyes, light hair, and hardy. We're big boned and very sturdy. The cheekbones are the same throughout, though. Very odd.
The running joke in my famil is the women are built like patatoe farmers (my wrists are about twice the size of most girls I run into). The plus size is the "extra" weight I carry looks quite natural on me. I love your videos (especially the hawser and fairytale braids which I now use regularly). And I can't wait until you figure out the crown braid but in the mean time do you have any more ideas for hair taping or weaving ribbon into hair (and hiding the beginning).
By the way, I forgot to ask... how do people call this hairstyle in english? I want to search for some images in Google but if I don't know the name I can't really do it...
My grandmother used to do my hair like this when I was little, too. I haven't worn it like that in about seventeen years. I stopped wearing it in grade school, but I guess that's gonna change cause it's too cute!
Very cute, can't wait until my hair is long enough for this. Thanks for the video!

I'm still working on that as a part of my ongoing frustration with the crown braid. I'll post it as soon as I figure them out, promise!

I don't know that it has an official name. I don't know of one, anyway. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
