Chris was a great friend. He sat next to me in Mr Dort's Earth Science class. We worked together at the Brass Knocker... I will never forget riding dirt bikes, cruising in his old Dodge, and hanging in the chicken coop. It was clear that he would be a star even in those days. He was always humble and a great human being. R.I.P. Criss

@rickmarr71 There's some talent left in America, just gotta look for it. I know a lot of underground musicians that are amazing....but you are absolutely right, the mainstream is lacking these days. It gives me a headache Savatage isn't on the radio, considering they're arguably the most well-rounded band in metal history, both as song-writers and musicians.

There will never be another Criss Oliva though, he was in a league of his own. RIP
