  • How do I combine all 3 campaigns into 1 ??

  • @kane123369: On the load screen where you sign in, there should be a link that says "Create Account or Add Access Key". Click on that and go from there. Make sure you go through Add Access Key, and it will automaticully add that game to your account. If you accidently created a new account from each campgain, contact support with your CD Keys, main account name, and varify your NCSoft ID (if available). (DO NOT GIVE OUT PASSWORDS)

  • I strongly disagree with 1 and 2 . an Ele would be a far better choice for your staring class.in fact i would advise to stay away from melee classes as a new player until you get the feel for the game . as for point 2 i disagree with it because a new player should learn the game mechanics and class proper which cant be done when given armor runs . also max armor in low lvl areas is booring

  • Maybe you should consider not being a noob yourself

  • UGHHHHH!! I hate you. not really. i hate this game. I dont understand anything, at all. if this is supposed to help new players, why didnt you gear it towards them? ive been playing 4 months and i have no idea what im doing. im completely stumped. and you didnt help whatsoever. GAH

  • @BpenguinFire this game is really hard to master, but you'll learn the basics on time.. i've played like 1600+ hours, and even i don't know everything about this game. though i have to admit, i'm pretty darn good (and rich xD) in the game.

  • may i know what the skills are for the trapping ranger would be usefull thanks :)

  • Does the Game of the Year edition come with all the expansions?

  • This video isn't very good. You don't explain anything you just list them.

  • DO NOT USE ELITE TOMES TO GET SKILLZ! if you look at this elite tomes are around 5k, how much is a cap sig 1k? hmmm.... 4k less (about) geez :P that 4k to my elite armor ^.^

  • @WhiteWolfTempest: you do use tomes when you first start to get a few skills to play the game with. Once you actually get to those areas where other Elite skills are, then ok, go ahead and cap them.

  • @WhiteWolfTempest what is a cap sig

  • @MrHaloreachfanatic: Cap Sig is a skill used to capture an elite kill from a boss monster.

  • does the ranger trapper still work? plz pmme the build also

  • so by playing pvp i can get points to buy tomes to unlock skills for my pve character?+ heroes?

  • @Warzinak: yes that is true

  • @SabreWolf18 i agree with you helping them out sabre :P

(or what is your first name?)

anyway, the only comment i need to make is for the new player, show them the way , remember what is a prescription for you is not a prescription for them, but a description :P

  • Where do you find tomes?

  • i cant find the elite zaishen area can someone help me please i am doing it on factions, i have found the zaishen challenge thing but i dont know where the elite zaishen is.

  • @rumblyblu

to unlock Z Elite you have to win against 5 teams in Z challenge.

  • i cant find the elite zaishen area can someone help me please i am doing it on factions, i have found the zaishen challenge thing but i dont know where the elite zaishen is.

  • i need help for my warrior.. what should my second proffesion be.... i wanna dish damage with a SWORD but be able to take alot of damage at the same time

  • dervish is complex i think hehe

  • Hey Sabre, what skills were in your trapping build? I'm guessing that it's a Ritualist secondary right?

  • i think i was onthe rit and i was a spirit spammer TBH. We actually ran 45 stright that time round... though it ends in the 20's and you get no extra points for doign that, but it was fun to do!

  • Oh, I see. Can you tell me what skills I should use for a trapping ranger?

  • See my PM I sent you since I can not post links in YouTube comments.

  • hey, ive got a recomendation for a new player with eotn if u either have nightfall, factions or prophecies go to, kamadan jewel of istan (nightfall) kaining centre (factions) and lions arch (prophecies)

in either of these places you will find durmand the historian with his 4 reward people take a stroy from durmand Turai's story is recomended, and once you have completed either of the storys go to durmand to get your story authorized and go to a reward person and claim ur maximum damage weapon!!

  • @GuildWarsGaming615 That's only if you have the Bonus mission pack

  • also in some cases... you don't even need to do the story to get a max item. You can use the items given to you in order to do the story. So you get a Channeling Staff, a Smitting Staff, and a Sword and Strength Shield w/o doing anything but talking to Durmand. But again, BMP is needed.

  • you left out the most important thing: how to make money.

  • thats kinda relative by preference of enjoyment...

    ~ Speed Clears

    ~ 600/Smite

    ~ 55

    ~ Farming Gems

    ~ Taxi

    ~ Raptor

There are so many other there... just have to find the one that you feel the most comfortable with.

  • hi there, after a long long break from guild wars i'll play it again. I decided to go with monk since i already have damage dealers (ranger, elem), any tips for a good secondary profession?

  • Secondary Profession for a Monk...

For PvE: Elementalist or Mesmer for energy management. Glyph of Lesser Energy is popular.

For PvP: Warrior for defensive stances.

  • Hey Sabre, do you have tips on a secondary profession for Warrior? Also, what kind of skills should I put into my build? I'm more of a damage dealer. Please reply, thanks!

  • Warrior's are predominately Warrior based for their skills. Especially if you are dealing with a damage build. If you are going PvE, go with cheep adrenaline skills to build quickly... or Warrior's Endurance with cheep quick recharging energy based skills. Also quick recharging deep wound attack like dismember can speed a kill. Secondary prof for warrior usually is hard rez or a better run skill like dash... to be continued...

  • cont'd... however, there are some fun Dervish and Sin secondary builds out there. Both I recommend Warrior's Endurence for with either fast recharge scythe (victorious sweep) and strength skills or fast recharge Dagger skills.

  • @traunkin For most war builds it doesn't really member. I like to rotate W/A W/R and W/Mo

  • Hey Sabrewolf, which proffesion is the best? :P

  • TIP FOR NEW PLAYES: stay out of pvp at first.

  • wait.

aren't pvp and pve completely seperate?

How do u get better at pvp if you don't play pvp?

  • at first... then once you get use to the controls and game compentacy... then go to PvP.

  • haha nice... :D

    yes dont play pvp first

  • can somebody help me get started in guildwars

  • mosy confusing game ever...... :( Its hard to get into

  • this game is really really easy... 8 skills is nothing compaired to other games out there that have 20-30 skills to manage, or parties of 20+ or controlling 3 toons at once... this game is very easy to play.

  • This game is the least confusing MMO I have ever played.

  • yeah I play and Im good now ;] its easy

  • Thank you for the video mate, im coming to guild wars from runescape '*GASP!* and i appreciate the tips thanks

  • Very nice points - I agree with almost all of what you said. Except I would have first character ranger - teaches you about range, conditions, degen, pulling, trapping etc. Also it is a good little money earner when you are starting off for the first time and the pet will help you until you get to level 20 with some elite skills.

2: Monk, 3 Necro, 4 Ele or sin

Zaishen trapping can get you Z-keys that can make you money pretty fast.

Pick up everything + sell for cash or salvage .

  • I agree, Ranger is probably the most versitile toon in the game, so its a lot of fun to play with and can go almost anywhere in the game, probably the best starting toon of all.

As for the other professions, ya I can see those being later ones for money makers once you get better at the game. The Monk and Sin are by far the best money makers... Necro can, but its more of a starting base of farming before you get into the big boy Prema and 600 builds.

  • noone should ever be getting zkeys until they have unlocked everything already.

  • cont: Its a lot easier then going to a trainer because normal tomes can go for around 300-500 gold, verses a trainer which can cost you 1K per skill after a while... And some of the better skills might be later in the game, so unlocking them with Balthazar Faction, will allow them to be used when you make the charactor...

Also, somtimes good Elite skills are DEEP inside of some of the games... so although an Elite tome can cost 5-8k... it can be a good investment to get 2-3 good Elite Skills

  • Oh and any of you out there making a Monk and want an Elite Tome... get Glimmer of Light (GoL)... Its fast, decent Heal, and the only heal you need on Noobie Island... trust me, I made a Monk in Nightfall and at lvl 2 I had max armor (Consolate Docks) AND GoL... makes life really easy!

I feel like Alton Brown from Food Network 0.0

  • i found healers boon better, it makes all your spells faster that are in healing so its almost like glimmer, and allows for more versatility.

  • what r tomes?

  • tomes are like books in game that drop from monsters... they allow you, when you double click on one, to teach your charactor a skill that has been unlocked with your account... that is why I recommend doing the Z-Farm Trapper thing... takes 20 minutes and you can get 6,000 faction per day... which is equal to 6 Normal skills (1,000 each) or 2 Elite skills (3,000 each).

  • nice tips for beginning players!

but where dop players actually get tomes?(im always buying them,)

  • tome are dropped randomly... usually in HM (Hard Mode)... Elites tome ofcoarse from bosses in HM... thus this is the only way to get them other then buying from another player... so in short... play HM or buy from other players... Elite prices are posted in a past comments

  • or Elites from dungeon chests :) and u can get normal ones from locked chests :)

  • keep up the good work

  • Nice vid!!!

  • gigidy goo

but prophecies has best story line

  • yes it is... sad thing is, proph sucks for making new players... Nigthfall is the easiest, then factions close after... Nightfall, you can have max armor and a elite skill at lvl 2... and thats just for starters... I love proph and EotN the most... but it just stinks to make charactors....

  • i know i can get elite tome from farming but is there a tome trader npc i can go buy from?? or do i have to buy from a player? and how much do elite assassin tome worth?

  • No, if you want a tome, you must trade for one with another player...

Sin tomes go for around 4-5k at the top end... the most expensive are Monk and Necro... those got for 8-10k... Warriors are cheep around 4-5k... all other ones fall around 5-8k...

  • k thanks

  • bow based ? lol go with ranged sounds bit better
