Besides, it doesn't just shift instantly- it takes several thousands of years for the shift to complete, and there is no reason to believe it will harm us in any way. This Nibiru thing comes from Sumerian myths and there is no way they could have known the orbit of such a planet. The second sun thing simply looks like lens flares to me...

@Stadernator Are you talking about the shift of the magnetic field, or the shift of the earth's crust (which is not going to happen btw)? The moon rotating is not evidence of a polar shift. What makes you think that? Archaeologists have studied pottery from many thousands of years ago, and it holds evidence of polarity. Everything I have ever read about it estimates it to happen about every 400,000 years and it takes a few thousand to complete.
@blancogurrl Anything can look like almost anything if that is what you are trying to see. It looks like an ancient depiction of a spider to me, not a magnetic field. Do a bit if non-youtube research on the magnetic field, then come to your own conclusion.
@blancogurrl Also, there is conflicting estimates on how often the changes occur. The shift from north to south happens quite randomly, it can be every year or up to a million years. Scientists have studied the magnetism in different stratums and found huge variations in the occurance of shifts. The last full shift apparently happened about 800,000 years ago, and it takes 1,000-10,000 years for a shift to complete.
@Jethu262 If we were in the middle of a shift, compasses would go nuts, not being able to figure out which way is north. Different regions of the world will read correctly, others would go haywire, and some would read opposite. There really isn't a whole lot of evidence that it is currently shifting.

I speak Russian and this is about Nibiru, not Elenin. The orbit depicted on the currency was the orbit predicted by scientists in the mid-20th century to be the orbit of Planet X or Nibiru. Notice how the Earth is directly opposite Nibiru from the sun. The reason nothing has appeared, if indeed there is a 10th planet/ 2nd star, is because the view of it (assuming the somewhat controversial science is correct) is entirely obstructed by the sun from our vantage point on Earth.
Given the amount of data collected in terms of the orbital patterns of our solar system's gas giants and the rather obvious rubble left in the wake of some massive catastrophe in the far distant past (the asteroid belt), I think it is only prudent to be aware of what is going on in our solar system. Personally, I think that it is a very real possibility, especially considering the vast amount of both scientific and historical evidence pointing in that general direction.

Besides, it doesn't just shift instantly- it takes several thousands of years for the shift to complete, and there is no reason to believe it will harm us in any way. This Nibiru thing comes from Sumerian myths and there is no way they could have known the orbit of such a planet. The second sun thing simply looks like lens flares to me...

What makes you think that? Archaeologists have studied pottery from many thousands of years ago, and it holds evidence of polarity. Everything I have ever read about it estimates it to happen about every 400,000 years and it takes a few thousand to complete.

@blancogurrl Also, there is conflicting estimates on how often the changes occur. The shift from north to south happens quite randomly, it can be every year or up to a million years. Scientists have studied the magnetism in different stratums and found huge variations in the occurance of shifts. The last full shift apparently happened about 800,000 years ago, and it takes 1,000-10,000 years for a shift to complete.

Different regions of the world will read correctly, others would go haywire, and some would read opposite. There really isn't a whole lot of evidence that it is currently shifting.

I speak Russian and this is about Nibiru, not Elenin. The orbit depicted on the currency was the orbit predicted by scientists in the mid-20th century to be the orbit of Planet X or Nibiru. Notice how the Earth is directly opposite Nibiru from the sun. The reason nothing has appeared, if indeed there is a 10th planet/ 2nd star, is because the view of it (assuming the somewhat controversial science is correct) is entirely obstructed by the sun from our vantage point on Earth.

Given the amount of data collected in terms of the orbital patterns of our solar system's gas giants and the rather obvious rubble left in the wake of some massive catastrophe in the far distant past (the asteroid belt), I think it is only prudent to be aware of what is going on in our solar system. Personally, I think that it is a very real possibility, especially considering the vast amount of both scientific and historical evidence pointing in that general direction.

to put this into perspective, the moon is around 400,000 kms.
the one we have to worry about is the asteriod 2055 YU55. it will come within 200,000 kms on the 8th of november. it should be visible with the naked eye very soon, if not visible already.
