  • Stevie wright, what can we say? Drugs or no drugs, That would be one of the best performances, I have ever seen. Part 2 with the hammond sisters, note perfect.

God bless Stevie wright. Didn't get the credit he deserved.

  • @bartlett964 kinda sounds like youre saying he died :P but yes hes amazing well i think that cause my names evie :P

  • This was such a great hit. Is that Tony Mitchell on bass and Garth Porter on keyboards from Sherbet here or am I mistaken?

  • A dislike? Nooooo, how?

Is there a way to flag a dislike as inappropriate?

  • the perfect Rock Song

  • I love how the entire crowd goes quiet in part 2, hanging on every word. Such power.

  • Oh, Stevie!

  • one of the best Aussie front men after Bon Scott

  • @jmmelnyk Before Bon Scott

  • @khuliwa rightio

  • Aussie became the greatest live rock act with these doys.who can forget Friday on my mind

  • Those two sisters ,the Cheetah girls are just great arent they!!Two gorgeous looking women who just excell vocally, here. How good are they!!?? Just compare the vocals to that latter version...(Yeah, I know it was for a good cause and they brought them together without a lot of rehearsal).

  • only 3,000 views just goes to show how much music has gone to the shit and that bieber faggot has 3 millions this is music, bieber is boring crap and the guy has no tallent just looks

  • @fordman351s Do remember, that this music is quite old... Most younger kids are growing up with Justin Bieber, though their generation is missing out on alot of good old music, we need to realise that the world's technology is now more advanced and completely different, and there's no talent in them, apart from the vocals. There's no talent involved in the pop music these days, just computerised drums and shit. So just feel sorry for the kids now, and keep listening to these old legends! x

  • @AshmonRAWR nup i will never be brainwashed but those gaylords ;) i love this song hahaha im evie!

  • One of the very best Aussie performers ever! When the Easys came back to Oz, they were one of the best live bands I've ever seen, and I saw Led Zep live, Clapton, Blackmore etc. Good luck to you Stevie.

  • I heard this for the first time EVER yesterday on Melbourne's Classic Rock. WTF, why isn't this a staple of rock stations the world over? It is quite simply brilliant. Just moved from London. I only knew of six acts coming out of Australia before now and that included Craig McLaughlin. Stevie Wright is the lucky seven.

  • A superb performance. He might have been drowning in his personal life, but he damn well knew how to be a rock star.

  • This song really does show that at it's best Australia can easily produce music at the very least equal to the best anyone in the rest of the world can produce. You only have to look at what followed in the 80's with all the local talent floating around. Have to wonder now though where it all went because now in 2011 there really isn't that many stand out aussies in music.

  • This is a damn impressive performance with an awesome song. I just wished I was around to see this.

  • Sorry. Not the first time. I saw it years ago on YT.

But it did disapppear for some time as I went searching for it to show a friend.

Was and is again one of the best things ever, on YT. Real spinetingler.

  • and cheetah girls backvocals ... JPY's musos - Iam Miller (RIP) lead guitar ... one of the major smashing performance at a Major Concert in the history or australian rock and roll

  • I know it is only early days since this was posted but am surprised by the very few comments - this surely must be up there as one of the best live performances in Australia of all time. Stevie had battled some issues to be here for this event but he let no one down. Love you Stevie!

  • Theres not much I cant find fault with.No problems with this one, still sends a chill up my spine, all 3 parts of it. They just dont make em like this any more, raw emotion. All this from a real oldie. Thanks heaps for the post.

  • This song is such an Aussie classic !!! the only other song that comes close is Hunters & Collertors Holy Grail !! Love it !!

  • @tymba100 - Holy Grail doesn't even come close.

  • Thanks for posting
