@ZonixZ59706090 i can name good, no, great games that have come out in the 7th gen console timeline. things like halo 3, uncharted, starcraft 2, bioshock, fallout 3. since 2006 plenty of fantastic games have come out, and im not hating or saying older games are bad, im just saying that this, our age, is the golden age of gaming, the gaming industry is taking over Hollywood and its never been as big as it is now. some of the most memorable games are made in the 7th gen.

i would have to disagree, it seems like all nostalgia. when I play a game I played back then again I usually think it's still good (I don't relise how bad it is) but when I go to play so called classics like golden eye that I barely played at the time, I find myself bored. (no doubt you will say I have no taste in games because I don't like old games). as far as I am concerned all the games that have come out in the past decade are legues better than previous decades

It's because the distributors of games are afraid to fund projects that might not be successful, seeing as the games cost so much to make in the first place.
