The next thing that needs to be worked on is Lake Cliff...bring it back to its original glory with paddle boats and amusement park type of attractions. Just an idea here...lol but the Trolley is gonna be super sweet!!

As someone who grew up in Oak Cliff in the 1970s and 1980s, I think this is a good idea on the whole. I understand the groups motivation, and I think it's great that anyone still living in Oak Cliff loves it enough to want to try and regentrificate it.

But I have to wonder just how much the locals from the more impoverished areas will abuse the line. And that is NOT a racist statement, it is a realistic statement.

Hurrah!!! The sound of rejoicing is heard through out the OC! Thanks to the folks at the Oak Cliff Transit Authority and all those who have sought economic redevelopment in Oak Cliff. The tracks are already on the viaduct hidden by asphalt. Shouldn't take a long time to make a good start on this. Congratulations!

Looks like it was awared federal funds, so this line will happen very soon from downtown to Methodist Hospital a least.
