Don't roll your eyes in your videos. Your dislike will breed other people's dislike. Do your own thing and if you mess up, simply play it off as your version of the song. You aren't meant to sound like Billy and very few people can mimic his awesomeness, but you can do one better, be unique. P.S. You should try some jazz picks. They take a bit of getting used to but they make your strumming absolutely precise, not that yours wasn't. They also get rid of some of the flimsy pick "raking" sound. Keep up the awesome work!

A very good effort, u just need to work on your rythm a little, try to hit the base strings more than the trebble, just hit the open trebble strings every so often to finish of a beat as Billy does on the record .. well that is if ur as obcessed about MCIS as i am, have been mesmorised by this recod for over 15 yr's! Great song choice, but I feel like this cover just took the lyrics and the structure of the song and was turned into a cover. The playing in the original is so broken, disarrayed, and incomplete, which is the total mood of the song. Which (for me, not everyone obviously) is the most important part of the song. I'm pretty biased though since this is one of my favorite songs ever, it related to my life so well and I have a special bond with this song. The playing is on, I just feel it doesn't fit.

I just feel that anything but the original of this song isn't right. What made the original so good was that even the playing and the structureless of it portrayed the message of the lyrics.
