After I left the comment below, I realized that 3 of my lovebirds ( I had 6 ) had flew window out. Was it a curse, because my comment?

I forgot to cut the wings for some weeks and they flew across the window. Among the 3, a male, which left his female with eggs. The female won't to get nestlings of these eggs, without the male to feed her. It's very improbable they will come back.

i have got 2 breeding african greys i would hate it if one of them escaped :(

Poor bird. Locked. I have some lovebirds here at home. I can't put them locked inside cages. I open the cages for them.

I just got my cockatiel, Angel, Saturday so she won't out of the cage just yet even if I leave the door open for her. I'm working on it though. She's slowly starting to trust me.

For lovebirds, the secret to become them tame is

1- Catch them in your hands

2- Feed them, starting when they are young ( 3 weeks after the birth )

I think with cocktails is the same.
