I suspect the kids will do the same as they get older.
This is not the first time I heard that Kate's parents are not invoved with her or the children, or with Jon for that matter. How terrible. Kate was probably a problem child that they were glad to be rid of. They don't talk alot about it. I do hope Jon continues to be in those children's lives.
