This is actually bad news for the Republicans.

Dodd was considered very vulnerable in Conn because of his cozy relationships with lobbyist (To his credit he did support the public option even though, like Lieberman, he;d taken millions from the Insurance Companies in the state).

With Dodd out of the race political analyst are giving the Democrats a better chance of holding onto the Senate state.
