Hey! I have a copuple qustions, one of them is how does this work with (norwegian) subtitles? i guess its streaming that too (but will it work wiht the æøå) ?

Second, am i able to record a show and put it ON the pc harddrive?

As far as i know only 1 person can watch this, which is ok, but how good network would you need to have to stream worldwide? does it depend on the home network (I aint guessing that) or where y are? (also is 20/20 good enough?) on my cabin i have only a couple mbit's

My slinbox PRO "not HD" is in my workout room with it's dedicated HD cable box, I also hoocked up a netgear N router directly to my slinbox which gets it's broadband connection through a wifi signal from my Fios router 30MB downloads and 20MB upload speeds, I watch my TV anywhere where there is a computer with internet connection, and it works great on my HTC Incredible smartphone, this thing is just fantastic. Mate of fact I am watching TV now as I am typing this on my laptop.

Yah but don't forget to mention that it eats up your internet!!! 1G for every 2 hours you use the sling box!!!

Does this Slingbox monopolize control of the TV? In other words: If you want to watch a show via Slingbox while someone is already using the TV, will changing the channel on your computer cause a channel change on the TV?

correct. but if you buy the pro it has a built in tuner so that wont happen.

Can multiple people watch different shows? the rest of my family wnt there own tv so i started looking at the sling box so if multiple people can watch, and watch different shows that would be great!!!

This won't work as a tv substitute for many different family members. you can only watch one show at a time unless your using picture in picture. But all this is more a function of how many tuners are in the cable box then how the Slingbox works.
