  • @BirdOfParadise777 i would only use wood! alcohol or any meth type fuel puts of a vapor that i would not want to get any food in! The make small chiminias that fit on tables! that way nobody ingests something bad! Hope this helps!

  • @drunkinneworleans Burt's Bees!

  • What kind of screw top can is that? and the black stuff whoever is wondering is carbon felt you can get a 9"x12" piece at home depot its in plumbing section its a heat shield so you don't burn something while you solder copper pipes.

  • So... I want to make something that can sit in the center of the table, to roast mini marshmallows over, with toddlers. What kind of fuel... only wood pieces? I wouldn't want it to burn very hot. I am going to put it into a wire cage and the flame would burn through it and just above the top of it.

    Any suggestions? Thanks:)

  • @USMC65UH34D this tin doe seal. you can travel with it in your pack, just make sure it is in a zip lock bag just in case. i also put a small line of duct tape inside the rim of the cap to act as an additional seal just in case! good luck man!

  • Hi friend, I just left a message with your Nivia stove but I like this better. The same questions apply if you could find time to answer them I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, ;-JJD

  • @q1qeu thanks! 5 thumbs? outstanding!

  • great stove, nice music. 5 thumbs up haha!

  • What is the material that is inside of the Stove??, i'm making a proyect about it's, but it's so necessary know what's the matterial.. Tnks!

  • @luisahernandezr + @unrealbrad I believe the material is carbon felt.

  • what's the black stuff on the inside?

  • thanks for posting your vid- i just wasted a day on you tube searching for a simple stove, tried to make a couple,,ha..anyway your's is the best and easiest to make .thanks man

  • really what kind of alcohol is that? is it drinking alcohol or alcohol for cuts?

  • Nice video. To assure no nasty, flammable leakage in your pack, plus lose of fuel, you might add some plumber's Teflon tape around the thread on the metal "stove".

Very well done, and superb to store unused alcohol.

  • what's the boil time on 2 cups of water?

  • It is truly a beautiful setup for a pocket stove. Where did you get the screw off top can? Is the product "Burt's Bees" ??, and you made an Alcohol Stove out of it? Thanks, it is sweet.

  • That stove is awesome, you should make a detailed video on how to make one that would be awesome!

  • @ChefBoyJL Thanks man!!! It's really easy!

  • @ridebks Not to those who have never made one and are looking for details!

I have a dremel and have been looking for decent videos that show the potential of my different tips and how each is used. Freakin dremel has nothing on web site or YT channel! I was hoping I had found a vid... but... no. Looks like maybe I'll have to screw up tips and possibly my drill to make a "what NOT to do while using the wrong tip" video. That should only take about a year! lol

  • That's a cool little stove my friend! I like the screw on lid :o) It's got me thinking again...hehe!

  • thats ok i do same at times forget to say things about it my u tubes have things said wrong to lol

  • @RJBURG I just edited it. Thanks for the tip!

  • All around cool!

  • @wawhiker Doesn't have the capacity of your Trangia! Still thinking about your setup.

  • think man think all the alcohol is in the felt not loose alochol cant leak

  • @RJBURG I realize that. When you fill it up, there is alot of loose alcohol. Sorry I didn't show that! I didn't script the video and didn't think about filling it all the way at the begining!

  • the music is right on with what your doing

  • @addiel2000 Thanks Dude!
