actually, ricky did make good observation, manny does not have strong punches backward (but so does most boxers i guess). but they underestimated manny's fighting from the inside. early in his career manny liked fighting inside. it's only since the marquez ii, diaz, dela hoya fights that manny showed he could also box. ricky was simply not able to corner manny because of his punching accuracy. ricky got caught everytime he came forward.
