Here's a different way of approaching it: You know how they say that the only thing we know about Nny's past is that his parents were murdered? What if THAT long haired guy was the murderer and the other two dead people were Nny's parents? I very much agree with godlikepiro's statement. On another note, some people tend to make these videos mostly from the perspective of others. It's interesting, yes. Very cinematic. But somehow less meaningful. In a way, I guess. I also feel they should have the voices done correctly with the right emphasis on words. Johnny is a much more "matter-of-fact" person than how most people make him sound. He never really came off as "dramatic" to me. And maybe a more high pitch, but fluctuates octaves.

I think your style of filming is unique and very well thought out. Camera angles are good, wonderful even, but you must remember who Nny is. It's not so much the lack of the costume, but that fact that he is shirtless. Johnny hates having his skin touching this "reality". Next to portratying Nny's psyche correctly, the lack of costume is pretty much meaningless in the end comparison. It's just a pointer for when you do make the film. Otherwise, well done!

The problem with a nny tribute movie is its tendency toward horror. The comic isn't a blood book, get the directors cut, read johnen's notes, also note he several times within the comic makes fun of the people who read it just for the violence. Johnny is an emotional character, making him a brutal or even physicaly intimidating character is a mistake. If you want to do this do it right and dont offend those who truly care.
