I've been studying him for quite some time and he likes to use his left hand for his Gyaku... and he was also trying to catch the other guy's leg to sweep him when he got kicked in the head... that's also something else he likes doing a lot... catching people's legs and sweeping them :)
We call it a mental cooldown, even if this kind of mawashi is typical from kyokushin but not shotokan, it's a way to temperate the fight.Actually it's a real strategy.
Aghayev is also quite a show off too(no guard, head dodging)so sometimes he deserves a daring opponent ;)
