You know I have come to realize that those that hold the beliefs of the left just dont understand reality and the real world. They dont understand that Countries will hate the U.S. no matter what! That to be a strong country means when you believe youre going to be attacked that you throw the first punch and not turn the other cheek. People of this world see kindness as a weakness.
Time and again we have come to the aid of many countries and what do we get in return "The Finger" .

President Obama has LED the G-20, charmed the despots, presidents and Prime Ministers and in country after country been heralded more warmly and more significantly than it's own leader. Believe me Im not delusional I know America has made mistakes but it is never without legitimate reasons that we may have commited errors in the process. You cant bat a thousand all the time. I know Iraq will be a better country in the end without Sadam. I just watched a video that was sent to me where it showed Taliban cutting the heads off of those that were aiding the U.S. They tied these mens hands behind their backs and three men held them down!!! Absolute cowards!!

HDNKR, again is right, we stopped communism in South Korea and it is extremely successful now. We pulled out of Vietnam and South Vietnam is one of the poorest countries in the world.

Ok one last time....the intel we received was the same the Russians and everyone else received and some of it was from the CIA and alot of it was from other intelligence services around the world....Sadam himself claimed he had it and he gased thousands of his own people...now are you going to spin that too?? Yes, I agree, Saddam did have do go. What about the our over 4.500 troops and 1.3 million innocent Iraqi civilians. That is what I have a problem with. Saddam is long gone, that mission should have lasted a week. We are there to secure our interests, end of story. bush is evil and he has innocent peoples blood on his hands. I am tired of everyone sugar coating this mans evil deeds.

yes in theory i understand the"get in kick his ass (which they did )... and then get out". hell we could have turned the place into a parking lot. the goal was to avoid collateral damage and spare innocents which believe it or not they did. we could have flattened the country. you cant leave a powder keg smoldering somebody has to keep things in check. some things you wont find out for years and then youll say oh shit im glad they did that and now we have a base of ops for iran next!

I agree with what you say okalright. My problem is that it is pretty sad that a nation as great as ourselves has to change the reason we invaded Iraq, (I think 4 or 5 times now.) War is real black and white to me. There is an iminent threat, we implement the draft, we go and kick ass. We don't borrow the money from China for the war and the rich and poor kids die for our country. And to kommisar, I am not changing the subject, I am talking to more than one person on this site asshole.

OKalright, Saddam had to go? Sounds like war mongering to me. The fact of the matter is Saddam's own party was on the way out and it was only a short matter of time before Saddam was out of power. The U.S. foolishly rushed in there to wage an unconstitutional war. All we had to do was wait until Saddam's party crumbled.
Now there's talk of doing even more killing in other countries. WHERE DOES IT END??? These people are NOT a threat to this country. No more wars are needed!

kommisar....understand Iran is next and it wont be the U.S. unless we're drawn into it! Israel is about to light up Iran and if Syria or any other Middle East country jumps in considering our current location I cant imagine not joining in! This could be the start of something that wont have a happy ending for any of us. You can stand on the sidelines or you can join and ensure the outcome.

I don't see why we need to start attacking a bunch of countries that are no threat to us just because we don't like them. Israel is a stupid ally that we don't need. We only use them for collecting oil and appeasing American Jews. Yes, let Israel recklessly attack people, on their own! There's no "outcome" that we need to ensure. It's time the U.S. adopt the non-intervention policy these politicians keep talking about during the election campaigns.

there was no way he was on his way out i dont know where you get your info from. the last time there were just protest against him in the south he unleashed helicopter gunships on them, and when the kurds (nomads) in the north made the slightest trouble claiming there independence he gassed them witha "nerve agent" women and children dying a horrific death where the last thing to go is your brain you are fully aware of your condition. he maintained he was the supreme leader till death

I'll work on getting a source. In the meantime, Iraq was not a threat to the U.S. They had no real army and Saddam was chickenshit. There are dictators all over the world who do horrible things. The U.S. even put some of these people in power. Do we just go around invading countries that have evil dictators? Give me a break. Iraq and Saddam WERE NOT THREATS. Now though, thanks to the U.S.'s bullshit foreign policy, Iraq is a breeding ground for terrorism.

kommisar, Irag invaded Kuwait and Iraq had declared they had nukes and we know they had gas! We have no allies in the MiddleEast except Israel and Israel has been a good friend although I dont agree with everything they do. Iraq is not a breeding ground for Terrorists but Iran is!! You're not getting it. If you were a small country with a few nukes why would you attack a much larger country with a much stronger military force and TONS more nukes than you? They're not gonna attack the U.S. if it means their entire COUNTRY gets wiped out. There's no point in that.

The Middle East doesn't hate us because we're free. That's propaganda. The Middle East hates us because we go over there, set up basis, take their oil and basically bully them. The U.S. was not a welcomed force in Iraq, unlike when we saved England from German bombings. If China were over here telling us what we can and can't do and setting up basis without our permission, we would hate them and them too. It's no different. Get the fuck out of the Middle East if you want curb terrorism.
