This is THE worst remake I've ever heard. I mean it. This woman does not possess the vocal talent to hit the notes this song demands. Just a total washout. GE is good on some songs, like Turn the Beat Around. But this one stinks. The only reason it got any airplay is because of who she is.

Listen to her at 1:47 as she tries to hit the note, singing "When other loves are gone", and then shortly after 1:50..... She doesn't even try.

Carl Carlton's is the definitive version. Talent to spare.
