  • Ah the memories!!! Great videos!! I went in August 1997. It was WAYYYYYY HOTTTTT! Ever see someone colapse from heat exhaustion? I have! And Black Hats gave water, but said screw that LEG!! Loved it. Our class had like 50-60% pass rate. I felt proud to earn my wings in that class. We did not do the 250 ft tower when I went. We also had a short jump week due to Labor Date. 2 days of 2 jumps in one day. Then the wings jump. Hollywood Baby! Love it..great Video!!!

  • If you freeze up do they just shove you out? lol

  • @Americanpatriot777 at 1:18, a guy stops and they just pushed him. so i guess yea they do

  • Oh shit. That poor guy at 0:09 hit hard!

  • jump looks scary as shit but i bet its fun as hell. i want to go so bad

  • LOL...Jump refusal at 6:45..... I bet that was the idiot that pull his reserve at 7:00

  • when you jump from the aircraft, how do you avoid getting your parachute snagged onto the elevator part of the aircraft's tail end? has it ever even happened?

  • I'm more worried about airborne school than SF school....i'm sure the fear will be washed away after the first jump though.

  • Wow this videos shows a quite a few paratroopers dragging along the dz. lol The wind can cause a lot of tension on your risers that it makes it harder to pull the release. 6:45 shows a jump refusal I bet.

  • Finally a video (series) that doesn't glamorize jump school. Certainly one of the best times I ever had next to basic.

  • I cannot wait to go to Airborne school next summer. This looks like it's a blast. I watched all 9 videos, one of the best hour and a half I have ever spent.

  • Was that a jump refusal on that last jump, never seen one of those before

  • Happy Birthday America, Keep up the Fire ! Pro Patria doughboy

11B All the Way Everyday ah ha.....

  • Yeah it does bring back memories. I wish i could jump again. The only bad memories i had were of standing in that ungodly long chow line.

  • Brings back lots of good memories. Welcome to the brotherhood Cherries.

  • Its all fun and games until your ass gets up there, some people have issues after the first jump, but that was the worst one for me...i was scared shit less.

  • These are great videos. I watched every one. Hopefully it will provide some insight so when i go to airborne school this summer I will be more prepared. Thanx

  • what the fuck happenned to that one jumper who's emergency chute opened up??????

  • There's always "that guy" who pops his reserve for no good reason...probably got scared, or just maybe just curious to see what would happen.

Joe does dumb some sh#t sometimes...

  • Some of these cherries ate shit on the landing...

  • Man I don't even remember what class I was in, but I do remember that field. Some genius let his chute drag him halfway to the meeting point. He disconnected real quick when he got dragged through an anthill.

  • I noticed two jump refusals, one was close enough to be shoved out though. First time I've ever seen one. I graduated class 41-06 Dco.

  • I went through jump school in dec. '68, we jumped C-119's, graduated right before Christmas. We had two killed on our 4th jump, knew them both. I remember one soldier's last name was Able and that he was from Florida. He and the other soldier got tangled together in mid-air and flamed in.

The Black Hat's were all over us afterwards. They must have got in big trouble, You gotta be alert and think. Things can happen.
