..was just out in Taos this past Oct.(2010), wasn't my first trip and won't be my last! I know the road well, have been up and down it many times. Not bad video at all considering equipment 12 years ago! Living in NH right now, up in the mountain/ski areas & we certainly have a lot of beauty in our landscape throughout New England but New Mexico is like no other land. It truly is the Land of Enchantment as stated. Moving out there to Albuquerque or Taos area in the next six months, can't wait!
So cool that you are moving out here! I'm originally from MA and have family in NH as well, mostly north of Manchester. Would love to come visit out there again soon. Visited family members in MA & NH in July 2009. Had a GREAT time. Yes, a lovely place!
@scotsman40 Wow..that is cool..i was in Taos also Oct.(2010) around halloween... i will be going back on Jun(2011) for awhole month cant wait!!!!!....i planning on moving to the Rio Rancho area ...it is very nice :)
This brought back some memories. i lived in taos in 1992-1995 ranchos. mr santistevens. was the old man we used to rent from. I know live in MESA AZ. and HOW I MISS this PLACE> i call HOME> made me tear up!! thanks a bunch
You're very welcome and thank you for your nice comment. Come on back and visit some time! Things have changed quite a bit in town. You'd be surprised. I'm surprised and I've lived here since 1997!
@GM1258 : I made it 11 years ago. This was me and my husbands first ever video. I'm certainly not a professional and never claim to be. I just like to have fun making videos! :-)
Cool! I've been there last winter season. Actually, I was living in Angel Fire. But sometimes I got out of the city to visit some places and buy some stuff for me. The I went to Taos and did like it!
taos is incredible.just back from doing route 66 and stayed there.rio grande gorge is just wow.new mexico is one of the prettiet parts of america i've been to so far
I lived in Taos and you filmed the main street I drive to work on. You might of passed the street to my house. I didn't expect to see that on YouTube. Although you filmed it back in 1998 and I moved here in June of 2007.
Pay no attention to the assholes below, the video is great and makes me long for Taos! Michael's Kitchen, the main road there, all the cottonwoods, ristras. Good post.
crappy soundtrack and bad views. I lived in Taos for 4 years you managed to miss almost all of the magic of the initial entry from about 20 miles out and then into town.

Great video. Ignore the other comments. I realize it was made 10 years ago with an inexpensive camera. I read the description.

You missed the Rio Grande Gorge. Both the river and the view when you come up out of the canyon.
That's my favorite part.
