  • ..was just out in Taos this past Oct.(2010), wasn't my first trip and won't be my last! I know the road well, have been up and down it many times. Not bad video at all considering equipment 12 years ago! Living in NH right now, up in the mountain/ski areas & we certainly have a lot of beauty in our landscape throughout New England but New Mexico is like no other land. It truly is the Land of Enchantment as stated. Moving out there to Albuquerque or Taos area in the next six months, can't wait!

  • @scotsman40

So cool that you are moving out here! I'm originally from MA and have family in NH as well, mostly north of Manchester. Would love to come visit out there again soon. Visited family members in MA & NH in July 2009. Had a GREAT time. Yes, a lovely place!

You're very welcome and thank you for your nice comment. Come on back and visit some time! Things have changed quite a bit in town. You'd be surprised. I'm surprised and I've lived here since 1997!

  • I do like the video, but why, oh why did you change the music.Your original music was just so spot on,so Taos if you will.

  • @wolfsburg7208

  • I live there!

  • I lived in Taos and you filmed the main street I drive to work on. You might of passed the street to my house. I didn't expect to see that on YouTube. Although you filmed it back in 1998 and I moved here in June of 2007.

  • Cool. I live in Taos also.

It's a great place to live!

  • In fact, you pass it in the movie. Neat!

  • Taos is a great town. I have a winter house there.

  • Pay no attention to the assholes below, the video is great and makes me long for Taos! Michael's Kitchen, the main road there, all the cottonwoods, ristras. Good post.

  • Thank you, sobradora, for the great comment! Your type of comment keeps me making videos!

  • did you stay at the sun god lodge??

we ate at pizza emergency...the best is

    the "chow cart"....good family.

    cheers to you.

    thanks for this vid...

  • Great video. Ignore the other comments. I realize it was made 10 years ago with an inexpensive camera. I read the description.

    AND I like the music!

  • crappy soundtrack and bad views. I lived in Taos for 4 years you managed to miss almost all of the magic of the initial entry from about 20 miles out and then into town.

  • You missed the Rio Grande Gorge. Both the river and the view when you come up out of the canyon.

    That's my favorite part.

  • i cant wait to move there next year

  • Cool. Next year, huh? Yes, it's a beautiful place. :-)

  • taos has a beautiful view when coiming into it thru horse shoe bend!!!!

  • Great video and music. Such a unique place. I always feel absolutely crazy and absolutely sane when I am there. Center of the Universe, yes?

  • i used to live there, now im in nyc, i miss the green chile like a mofo!!!!!
