  • i know it sounds crazy but sometimes i look at hagler and i think he actually hits as hard as holyfield did even with the weight diff. I think the additional handspeed hagler gained by staying big but not HUGE actually made him more powerful. Anyways another beautiful performance from the best fighter in the mix in this generation of welter-middle

  • Back to see an ugly muzzie get hurt. Shame on Certo for jumping in and not allowing Hamsho to get permanently hurt.

  • @wayupinya1 maybe you shouldve gotten hurt instead moron go hate on someone else if you got so much negativity all it shows is pure hatred and jealousy BECAUSE YOUVE GOTTEN NOWHERE IN YOUR LIFE WHILE HES DOING FINE WITH HIS LIFE NOW

  • @wayupinya1 stfu you cunt. Stop watching boxing which is a mans sport, because youre a damn 6 year old

  • @wukillah92 Fuck you you Muzzie sympathizer. Go blow something up, you piece of sorry terrorist shit.

  • @wayupinya1 You afraid of me like a bitch. Go on put the kettle on you dirty faggot. Your knees would be shaken by my presence. And im 100% sure Hamsho could fuck you up literally, as in rape you, sexually. so stfu and sit down

  • @wayupinya1 Hold on, your 46 years old? HAHAH ohh shiiit, you must be clinically depressed to make such childish comments on youtube. May God help you. I will pray for you, you dont deserve this kind of life

  • @wukillah92 Better 46 in the USA instead of 21 in Britainistan. Now I see why you love Muzzies so much - your country is overrun with them. By the way, your mom is here. She'd say "hi", but I have her mouth, er, occupied :D :D :D

  • Hamsho was a beast at middleweight. He weighed in at 160, but he looked bigger and stronger than some light heavyweights. Hagler was the only middleweight who was strong and skilled enough to dominate Hamsho.

  • This fight was at Madison Square Garden, NYC

  • If this was the fight in Chicago, I was there, it was on a double bill with Weaver-Tillis, two of the most boring fights I have ever seen...

  • That Hamsho was one dirty piece of Arab shit. Not just in this fight, but in many others. They stopped it much, much too early. Hagler should have had the opportunity to beat him up for a few more rounds.

Anyway, Hagler was one of the very, very best and it's always good to see a Muslim get the fuck knocked out of him.

  • shit those arabs must have gangbanged your moms big time, ouch! sorry for your loss kid!

  • it sucks being a victim of inbreeding doesnt it wayupina

  • Hamshow as tough. Not sure he was tough enough to warrant two shots at Marvin, but they were both entertaining fights.

Hamsho today-I'd like his chances at 160. Kelly Pavlik wouldn't want any of that.

  • For about tthree years Hamsho was the second best to Marvin Hagler, considering how he came to America from Syria with nothing and the late Paddy Flood took him to the world title two times. The only other middleweight contenders close to him at that time was Frank the animal Fletcher, Tommy Hearns and the Great Roberto Duran.

  • wow amazing, arabs are fascinating. The got loads of power, unbelievable.

  • Hamsho was a tough SOB, but Hagler was an even tougher SOB

  • Of Hagler's many great qualities as a fighter, I must say that he was never careless; he always held his guard up high, and was very focused.

  • seriously could anyone handle hagler?

i mean ofcourse without backing up like ray leanord

  • NO, he could only be beaten by backing up. But he was very vulnerable for that. Lucky. Most of his challengers were sluggers.

  • i think he believed he was marvelous, the name got to him, eventually it stuck lol. He does have a warrior spirit.

  • One of the few times I've ever seen Hagler back up. All though he still got the knockout in a devestatingly beautiful fashion, Hamsho still must have been a force to be reckoned with. Love watching Hagler fights. Always thought he was the best of his era, and what an era it was.

  • mustafas son is in my school in sixth grade

  • sick how hagler was a southpaw but was right handed, his straight right was great.

  • Hamsho had absolutely no chance of winning this bout against Hagler...

  • fuk you bitch . syrian pride . hamsho stood up to the best in the world he wasnt far from becoming the best and you know that

  • hamsho another ugly arab loses

  • Fuck you cunt, what have you done thats so great faggot?

  • Hagler had to be the best if not the best middleweight during that period of good fighters and thats what seperated him from the rest. Ray Leonard strategically avoided Hagler for as long as he could and still did not really pay of. Leonard should have taken a puncher like John Mugabi and I wonder what that outcome would have been,,no toe to toe in that one guaranteed! Hagler could brawl with the best of them.

  • Hagler is one of the all time greats!

  • Back in 1984 I was under contract as a professional fighter under Lou Duva [Main events] out of Totawa N.J. ONLY HAD 3 PRO FIGHTS being I was a Southpaw I WAS CYZS MAIN SPARRING partner for the Mustafa Hamsho fight. Bobby lost every round in that fight

  • What is your name? Perhaps I have seen you on some undercards when you fought in Totowa.

  • Jimmy Dorsey I fought at the playboy resort on the johnny bump city bumphus card. I was a Southpaw. Also at Medowlands arena on ST Gordon cruiser weight champion ship card. Only had three pro fights until an elbow injury caused me to retire early. I also fought Alex Ramos in amatures losing a decision. Tyrone Booze who became cruiser champ beating him 2 times David Sears 1 time in New York Gloves. When Bobbie Cyz fought Mustafa Hamsho I was his main sparring partner because I was a m.W.

  • Hagler did get knocked down by Roldan. But on the replay it looked like a pull down.Roldan cupped Haglers head and pulled him off balance.Thats how I saw it....

  • @RILES36 They went to court and that knockdown was reveresed. Nobody could knock Hagler down, especially Roldan who got his azz whipped and really didin't want to fight after he got hit. Typical bully.

  • Hamsho was blessed with an iron jaw, but cursed with hands of clay. Yes, there was Benitez, but I remember when he beat up on the white hope of middle weights - Bobby Cyz. Cyz was billed as the Golden Boy, but Hamsho just beat the shit out of him in '83. Cyz didn't look golden anymore after Hamsho head butted, elbowed, palmed, foot stepped, and even kneed him over ten rounds.

  • "white hope"cyz was a good fighter asshole,have a nice day

  • Benitez wasn't strong enough. And lets remember they were trying to make Benitez-Hagler but then Benitez got manhandled by Hamasho.

  • The sonny liston of middleweights.a genuine brute type style.a very intimidating bully type character.could punch quite good but not That good, could box good but definately not That good.Could definately take a great punch but never really was in a fight where he absorbed a continous onslaught of hard punches.Only had to tke a couple of hearns's bombs before he was fortunate enough to get in his own.I really think Benitez had the style to outpoint em.

  • best middleweight ever.

probably one of the best p4p fighters ever. up there with ray robinson.

  • Hamsho was one dirty fighter, probably the dirtiest i've ever seen. it's not a good idea to piss of the marvelous one.

  • Notice Hagler didn't complain when he got butted? Just made him want to hurt the guy more. There's no way Hagler could be beat by an agressive fighter. That was too much like bringing brass knuckles to a gunfight.

  • That is why you hit the Marvelous softly and run like Sugar Ray did. Say what you will about the fight. The fact is the only way to beat Hagler is to box him not kill him. If you do, you die example Thomas Hearns, Mustafa, and John Mugabi. Rough tactics, made him concentrate harder but soft punches made his concentration waver just a touch like Duran did.

  • Ariam - Your point about SRL is funny as hell. But I wouldn't like to Rays shots, especially his 3-inch left hand achor punch kungfu-guys like to do at exhibitions. He used it against Benitez and knocked him down. SRL is no mug...Hagler should have figured the Sugerman out!

  • Lmaoo... its kinda hard watching my uncle get knocked out twice(Mustafa)...lol... o well... no one always wins...

  • no shame losing to one of the greatest middleweights of all time

  • hardest chin ever :) The Marvelous one !!!

  • yes sir, never KNOCKED DOWN (i think) and never KNOCKED OUT. his 3 loses (1 MAJORITY DECISION, 1 UNANIMOUS DECISION AND 1 SPLIT DECISION) his loses were close fights. the best middleweight with a great chin.

  • He got knocked down once by Juan Roldan, but imo the greatest p4p fighter of all time.

  • The Marvelous One!!!
