  • Paramount Channel UK used to air a lot of movies from Paramount library, including ROMAN HOLIDAY, LOVE STORY, THE ACCUSED, THE GODFATHER and sequels, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, GREASE, FLASHDANCE, the INDIANA JONES film series, ORDINARY PEOPLE, TERMS OF ENDEARMENT, BEVERLY HILLS COP, FOOTLOOSE, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN, the STAR TREK film series, the FRIDAY THE 13TH film series, THE BAD NEWS BEARS, EL DORADO, PRETTY IN PINK, CROCODILE DUNDEE, and so on.

  • Comedy Central originally was The Paramount Channel, with an emphasis on the Paramount television and film libraries. The Paramount Television library is now owned by CBS as a result of the split of the old Viacom in early 2006.

  • Speaking of The Paramount Channel do you have any handovers from Nickelodeon?

  • nope i wish i did though

  • We're trying to find the idents for some of the theme nights they used to do. Like the Cel Block (that showed all the anime) and the stuff with the guy with a TV for a head!

Oh and the random mini series with Simon Pegg as a Spaceman on his own.

I know I'm weird, but stuff like this reminds me of when I was a kid :)

  • I have some.

  • BSkyB multichannels subscribers in the UK were originally going to get Nick At Nite after Nickelodeon closed down at 7pm but this never materialised and we Sky Multichannels subscribers were given this instead!

  • Wow, this takes me back :)
