  • OMG this is why I don't play CoD... xD

  • LOOK, OMG it's feday!

  • When will someone stop this tragedy?! Oh women gamers, the cross you bear is simply too great! Bottle your tears for us!

  • Oh the horror women face, being forced to listen to the occasional mean remark when they're playing a video game. Truly an oppressed and marginalized group

  • Proud to be a girl gamer :P

  • >As seen on: /V/ Video Games

    Oh boy.

  • These girls all sound mad as hell.

    Sammich tiem amirite?

  • @999newaccount Does those things sound like something 14-year-old boys should say? Would you let your own kids to talk other people like that?

  • @bigserg2 I would, when I play games I really don't want to hear 13-15 year olds screaming how they are going to rape my mom and girlfriend. If you like hearing that, I feel sorry for you. You can play games without offending anyone.

  • Dumb ass kids act out when they hear females.. I could care less cos a lot of them are really cool and easy going. Even when they rage.. it's not even half as bad as guys do so its more managable.

  • So....in summary women should be exempt from trash talking because they're women? Guys catch shit online all the time too but we don't hold fucking panels so that we can whine about it.

  • Feminist? Ugh.

  • 7:56 "it completely rolls off her back".... HAIYO!!!! XD

  • @ManlytearsUK that would explain why men are so bitter all the time since most are ugly. :)

  • I would have some respect if Frag Dolls weren't using breasts to promote products for teenage gamers ;\

  • Hey that guy took Notch's hat!!!

  • I love your light hearted approach to this. That's how I've accepted the bad behavior over the internet :D

When a girl reveals herself in an online game I try to be neutral as possible, but please understand that it's so rare that it's an event by itself xD

  • @arcaeu The fact that you think guys calling other guys wimps or pussy is all comparable to threats of rape, murder and other vile disturbing things shows just how little you actually know on the matter at all.

  • Comment removed

  • @arcaeu Except it's not at all comparable to what guys get AT ALL.

You can join a game, say something and chances are, no one is going to give a shit about what you say.

A women joins the same game, says a single word, and is instantly inundated with insults, hatred and some of the most vile things people can say, including threats of bodily harm, rape and murder. Simply because they were a women playing a video game online.

How can you compare that to calling someone a pussy? Honestly?

  • @AlexMacKay haven't seen anything even close to that in online games...

  • @arcaeu In a game where I beat a guy and he calls me a bitch... thats an equivalent to men calling each other names and it's no big deal. when I sign onto a game and I get 5 friend invites with messages asking for nudes\send me instant messenger names\bug me to add that on FB that's a tad bit weird. When people rant and rave and throughout the ENTIRE time you're playing not based on your talent but your gender it's different. People routinely take it WAY further than simply "name calling".

  • @arcaeu Thanks for explaining what trash talking is! Us women would NEVER have figured that out unless some gamer came along to provide examples of it!

  • Sadly, name calling is a part of video games because it is a part of adolescence. Kudos to you for choosing to point and laugh at the worst examples.

  • then reddit hit. MUHAHAHA

  • Keep up the excellent work. You guys are the best.

  • Mute, Block, and Report. Problem Solved

  • @m0nkeyr0ach Yet the ignorance just keeps on coming. The sea of total fuckwads never stops. lol It's kind of hilarious except for the fact that its so sad. I feel like the one girl though. I've heard "get back in the kitchen" so many times that now I just respond "Dude, I AM in the kitchen. I never leave."

  • kind of ironic that this talk happened at PAX considering the whole "Dickwolves" saga.

  • @mur0010 The dickwolves things was about men being raped, and was written by other men. Not really sure how women come into it.

  • Awesome panel! Very inspiring! :)
