Stick to your principals and eventually students will seek you out because they want a different method. And always remember that the horses are the real teachers. Both me and my students learn from our horses every lesson! And, by the way neither Shoki nor the horse in this video are stallions. Both are geldings.
youre a really good teacher, ive always been taught that a teacher and trainer are the same, thus should act the same- with patience, calmness, understanding, and a steady temper (which seems to be you all over!) i too aspire to oneday become a horse trainer. its very hard where i am, as i dont want to train old school, with whips, spurs and fear. i never want to break a horses spirit. i just wish my faamily could see how calm shoki is , even though hes a stallion!
