I JUST DISLIKE THE ALL THE PREDOMINANT WOW INFLUENCE. Diablo is not just a multiplayer game, I never ever played Diablo 1 & 2 multiplayer. It was always a purely epic singleplayer story. And I played Diablo since it's days
I think that you having to go back to town to switch skills is a bad idea because if u get a new skill while out in the field and u want to try it out you have to all the way back to town and if u try it and dont like it u have to go all the way back. Also if you are in really early game and you dont have the stone of recall you have to walk all the way back.
@PsionicSlice No you dont walk back, you use the stone of recall 10s cast which teleports you to town, change skill and use the tp back to where you were. Swaping skill would then be a matter of like 30 to 60 seconds. This is not a long time lol.
You get the stone of recall like 30min into the game.
@RezoAcken You're right, i guess i forgot about the checkpoints where you can go back to town but I think that they could put like a 10 second thing like with the stone of recall where if you are attacked while changing skills then it stops it,
@RezoAcken yeah but they said so much about how they wanted to keep the player in battle and not have to go back to town so often. for example, they put the cauldron of Jordan in so that they don't have to go back to sell things at a vender and then go back into the fight, but now with the skill switcher stone thing, you have to go back to town to swap skills just like you would go back to trade with a vender, it still takes up unnecessary trips back to town.
@PsionicSlice I've been playing the beta and rather than going back to town I was more like fuck it I'll stick to this build and when I cross a nephalem altar in the game or need to go back to town to buy items or grab a quest, I'll probably change it there. For me personally, it was fine, but I can see why some won't like it. Except that I much prefer it this way over people switching say their disintegrate for frost nova because the next mob is going to be small fast critters that swarm you.
@PuttahBoy luckily now they have all new system which i really like but now i still have to go back to town to sell or salvage items. bummer i liked the cauldron and cube
@PsionicSlice It's really not as bad as it sounds because the D3 inventory is way bigger than in D2 and on top of that, you can't salvage white items anymore which means you'll only be picking up magic and beyond, and I turn back to town for reasons such as turning my quest in faster than my inventory takes to fill up.
Plus you do all your crafting at the blacksmith anyway so whether you salvage them an hour before, or a second before crafting won't make any difference.
@Mirza839 You can't start on nightmare, would be impossible with a lvl 1 character anyway. Maybe you can get rushed but I believe they really nerfed powerleveling in D3 and you will be underleveld in nightmare if you get rushed.
I don't think I like the skill swapping thing. I really liked the feeling of having to think about how to spend your skill points. It made every skill point really valuable.

@TyroneTasty what, the part where he 1 hits everything in the room and then uses an instant healing health potion and continues on his way?
Looks pretty easy to me.

can u just start the game on nightmare or do u have to complete normal to play nightmare?
Mirza839 4 months ago
@Mirza839 ask a friend to rush you, but lvl 1 in nightmare is definitely not advised, you want to skip some content, but go for the xp gain too

@Mirza839 I'm sure you are going to have to play through normal.
