There were so many things eric did not play on. I think he only fully played on Creatures and lick it up. Look on Kissasylum the interview they did with the drummer for asylum. that will tell ya.
I liked Eric but I never liked the way he played the old songs. He played them to stiff. Peter just had more swing in his playing that is not more techinical but more musical.
I Mean For Fucks Sake, I think Sonic Boom is Far Better Than Psycho Circus. Psycho Circus is Shit Compared to Sonic Boom, So Fucking What If Ace and Peter were Part Of The original lineup? That Doesnt Make Them The Best Members.
Their not great or anything... eric and bruce aren't even worth hitting the shift key to capitolize the first letter of their crap filled names, I wouldn't hate them so bad if they didn't act like they helped start the best band ever... they walked into a band already labled as great, they didn't help start nothing. I hear they tried to start a band that went flop so that should tell you something. They were/are nothing without Paul and Gene. Paul/Gene/Ace/Peter. The Real Kiss. The only Kiss!
@GordonRamsayFan How dare ypu talk shit about ERIC CARR!!! Everyone in their right mind know that He buried peter criss behind the kit. Eric played peters perts flawlessly and when peter tried to play Eric's songs he sounded like a child
Great song. But it could've been a lot better. It's missing a good riff and overall it should have a different sound. It feels incomplete like many songs on the album. But it's still great, you can't go wrong if the song is as good as this.
I seen this tour in Bonner Springs KS & Topeka KS. The Topeka show was amazing, they played for 2 1/2 hrs. Slaughter and Winger opened for Kiss in Topeka. This song should have been added to the set list for sure. I would like them to do a concert with a set list of songs that have never been played live. There are so many songs like this one that should be played live and give the regular set list a rest......
I saw the Hot in the Shade tour in July 1990 when KISS came to the Carolina Coliseum in Columbia, SC. Danger Danger and Slaugter opened. It was a good show except for one thing: the fire marshalls banned them from shooting pyro. Did this happen anywhere else on this tour, besides Little Rock, AR. Those fire marshalls really had to be backwards.
Thank goodness you saw a complete show. I did find footage of the Hot in the Shade shows here. They are coming close to my home on October 17. They are going to perform at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, SC. Buckcherry will open. On the Animalize tour, a floodlight exploded sending a stagehand to his death at the old Memorial Auditorium. The stage was being cleared of Krokus and prepped for KISS. They had to evacuate the building for awhile, but KISS eventually performed.
paul went through a period of listening to Bon Jovi a lot, but I don't think that he ment for it to sound like them, and I don't think that he would copy them intentionally.

Rock on, but I always wished Bruce ripped it up a little more during the solo section. That chord progression was begging for a shred fest. :-O
