"u didn't play all the correct notes" -- what a douchebag! Mike McCready is the king of improv and never played the same two solos in his life: there is no "correct" version. A great Alive solo cover will stay close to the original, of course -- it is a cover, after all. But some improv here and there can be great, if it adds to the song.

This was a great cover, probably the best Alive cover I've seen on YouTube. I believe I heard some Hendrix references in the improv. Nice job.

Acrus7 I agree is following the tab more and not doing a bad job, however in my mind he's not putting much feeling into it. The end phrases sound shoddy. With this ive taken notes out, and added some in places. Its just my own interpretation of the solo rather than playing the cd. Do you ever here Mike playing the CD version when he plays (A)Live??
