Excellent speech. After the Bear Stearns issue with illiquidity, this could be perfect motive for the cons to play the race card as a distraction from the economy. It make no sense otherwise. Bush sickened us with Farwell and Robertson without being held accountable for their hatred. Obama tells the hard truth in minutes 22and23, the economy is bad and people are suffering. The cons don't seem to want to acknowlegde this. Get past these issues and we can see where America's problems are.

My heart feels for Barack. I do not think Barack should have to explain his reverend or his church. Religion and politics represent two different worlds; two different kinds of power. History clearly demonstrates that when governments try to mix politics with religion, people's individual rights are trampled upon and the church loses credability. This is happening to Barrack.

Belonging to a church that preaches hate has nothing to do with faith. Picking Rev. Wright as a mentor/family figure is a sure sign of what you believe in. It is obvious that you both are full of hate for whites. It is sad you are bringing your children to a church that spreads hatred, not love of God or your fellow man.
