  • Wullie, I was a personal friend of Dermot O Brien in myopinion he was the master of the box , i claim to been to the most personal apperances he played I had known him since the 1960, I have recorded on tape with his permision, the last performance of his in Kilarney before he dide, if you would would like copies of them get in touch my handle is (thatshim@eircom.net) I know you would realy enjoy them Mike.

  • @bertosvids - Unfortunately I don't have a copy of the music of this tune. I learned it fully by ear. But it should be fairly easy to find online and shouldn't cost you too much either. Thank you for the kind remarks. Wullie.

  • Back in the 50th I was in England . I got a tape of Will Starr . & he made me cry . All the time I played it . Im From Conamara , But I loved scottish music . They have soul . I call it Naya . Dont get me wrong . The Irish are good to . Jimmy Shand was one of the best . I loved him . --pat
