shouldn't these 'mock ups' be put on a machine that simulates the worst bumps from the tracks, so that to check that their elbows/fingers don't hit the bodywork?
@F1guitarfanatic927 - They probably do. I saw a documentary about the Williams F1 Team in 2003 and they had this rig that the car sat on and it simulated all the bumps. So it's plausible.
I think its cool with all the money and technology mclaren have it still takes lewis with a marker pen to mark out the cockpit detail for the designers to implement!
@garethkielty Nothin like the first time eh xD . well as a kid he used to make the race exciting at the start by shouting or something lol... and I would get excited too, plus his voice was powerful compared to legard who rambles alot : / I mean I like the guy he just doin his job but I prefer Allen he kept me in it soemtimes and at least he let Martin Brundle speak too lol. Allen seemed more like a well educated fan, Legard more like a 'do it by the book' kinda guy you know? : /
@garethkielty ummm excuse me, do you watch the bbc coverage of f1. hes a biast prick who always thinks hes right. he is so boring to listen to. james allen totally owns him anyday. sad but true.
@singningwongho coulthard and brundle are awesome together. james allen is a lead commetator and coulthard is a co commentator. that means brundle would have to go so no..coulthard wins
@garethkielty i dont care what you call them, allen owns couthard, if that meant saying goodbye to brundle, i would sadly so goodbye just to have dc gone. u may be older, watched more gps, have more knowledge, but this is my opinion and im a loyal f1 fan since 1999. thank you and have a good day.
wow legard was hideous. i agree DC and MB are immense but i looked back at james allen as the golden years because i grew up with him. i started watching just after murray left when i was 7 so james allen was all i knew. i agree thought that murray walker is the greatest because ive looked back at past races and just been astounded and coulthard and brundle combination is brilliant. legard was a failure. if you try and deny it youre not a true F1 fan and have only been watching since 09
@garethkielty I've been watching since Tyrrell got a podium in Detroit with one Jean Alesi, Leyton House went on to get their first podium later that year. Trust me, James Allen wished he was Murray Walker. Jonathan Legard at least used his own style instead of trying to imitate someone else.
2:07 - Lewis draws on himself....lol

@singningwongho That comment was posted a year ago when jonathon legard was commentating before brundle and coulthard.

@deputydan95 the main point in that comment is... 'james allen, go to bbc'. which is what i am replying to. fucktard.

@garethkielty You think Legard was a cock and you like Allen? You're a crap judge of character. DC and MB forever.
