Yes this is an awesome pedal. I to run my strat thru the HB and into a Twin Reverb. It is so dynamic and responds like a vintage marshall to your guitars volume changes. I just run the gain at max and roll off my guitar to about 7 and the tone is just creamy. If you want vintage overdrive at levels where the sound guy won't be telling you to turn down all the time then buy this pedal!
It actually is an AWESOME pedal...run my Les Paul thru the HB into a TwinReverb..and the sound I get is just amazing...previously used a Fulltone OCD (another excellent pedal) but the Rothwell's sound is just way more "amp like" and is way more responsive to volume changes...buy one..wont regret it!
