  • looks like bob dylan as Rorschach

  • you may call him rorschach but i call him Freddy

  • Comment removed

  • i hate freddy so damn much

  • i was hoping his his natural voice was rorschach

  • @inuysha360 I was hoping it was too, but it also makes him more diverse as an actor. To know he can pull off a voice like that.

  • i love how he has like 4 awesome classics and thn the loosers

  • Crappy childish taste.

  • i hated the fact that he made freddy look asian :(

    i was like WTF?

    it was good though.

  • thumbs up if u came here to see what he really sounded like

  • I liked the remake of A nightmare on elm street but atleast he admits no one can come across the real Freddy Krueger like Robert Englund but really they were both good in their own Freddy Krueger characters, both amazing actors! Awesome

  • @irisheyes0218 "Share a new nightmare with us"? lol, shut up. . .

  • is he the one who star in the human target

  • @vancruel27 yes he is

  • I thought the nightmare on elm street was actually pretty good I think Jackie earle Haley did a great job as Freddy Kruger

  • planet of the apes is not a horror movie

  • losers is a horror movie???

  • @atomichead777 @farneyblakeley this is not a horror movie list

  • Besides from The Losers, which I didn't like, this is quite an interesting list.

  • PLANET OF THE APES, Hell Yea!!

  • hello

  • NOSFERATU :D

  • he was too damn nice in nightmare

  • he was AWESOME in watchmen but AWFUL in elm street remake.

  • he was kelly from bad news bears in 1976

he was rorschach in watchmen now freddy

and he was dukes in semi-pro

  • Who da fcuk is Jackie Earle Haley??? He will always remained as a WALK-ON guy..

  • He is such an underrated actor. Its pretty crazy how he didn't even get nominated for his role as Rorschach.

  • @Josh0473 It's even crazier the movie itself wasn't nominated. It's better than half of the movies that were nominated for Best Picture.

  • @GabersJones Yeah i know. The Dark Knight is better in my opinion, but Watchmen was a great film.

  • @Josh0473 OMS. Coincidence. The Dark Knight is my favorite movie. And I hate how people say I'm not a true movie lover because it's my favorite movie.

  • @GabersJones Oh its not just a great superhero film. Its just a great crime/drama in general. There's nothing bad, film making wise about that film.

  • @Josh0473 Yes. When you watch it, it doesn't feel like a superhero film.

  • The thing I love about Jackie is that he isn't trying to bring the new Freddy as THE Freddy. Because Robert Englund will always be the classic Freddy and Jackie respects that :3 But I do love the remake and I love the portraying he gave Freddy. You go Jackie! <3

  • Well said Sir!

  • I frickin' love Alien. Some of the best claustrophobic atmosphere you will ever see in a movie.

  • he sounds young

  • Losers what the shit jackie??

  • so.....the losers and nosferatu somehow make it onto the same list, does anyone else smell gin?

  • @irisheyes0218

In my opinion that movie sucked, I'm a very open minded person, I have no problem with remakes, but there were actually some literally stupid moments, and it was poorly made. I hate that remake. I feel bad, in a way, that he had hope for it.

  • @futurestoryteller What do you think of his performance as Freddy? I thought it did a great job.

  • @GESSO217 or as Rorschack?

  • BEST REMAKE EVER! JACKIE EARLE HALEY ROCKS!

  • DOUGHNUT DOUGHNUT DOUGHNUT!!!

  • Dont fucking disrespect ED GEIN buy using him as a reference for a shit remake like A Nightmare on Elm st. R.E is is the only freddy.

  • losers?

  • @irisheyes0218 Well, let's be honest, being contracted to do more films doesn't mean it'll happen. I definitely want Jackie to return as Freddy, but all I'm saying is you never know what'll happen. Shithead producers & what not can easily fuck up something or cancel projects & then the actor ends up getting replaced.

  • The New Nightmare was amazingly awful. I wonder if he'll be able to find work after making it.

  • @BestPete8 Considering he's won 7 awards and has been nominated for an academy award I think he'll have no problem at all. ;)

  • Losers?

  • <3 WE LOVE YOU JACKIE!! <3

  • i love all of those movies too, xcept never saw the losers

  • JEH is the best. He is a GREAT Rorschach and a GREAT Freddy. Can't wait to see more from him.

  • I can't believe this guy played Rorschach, what an amazing actor

  • I guess they truly were just films on his mind, cuz there is no way he truly would put the Losers ahead of Alien, but no he seriously has some great movies on this list

  • the new nightmare wasnt bad more modern it doesnt really have to be a remake of first movie i like to think of it as another nightmare movie with ideas from the first because so many people bashed it say oh this sucked the original better it was different in a lot of ways to i like freddy krueger whether it be robert or haley

  • 0:25

    jizz???

  • i think he was payed off to put The Losers in his top 5. He barely gave any description and anyone with knowledge of cinema should know better

  • @getlikemc The Losers was a great movie but you're right. It isn't great enough to be on a top 5 list. I think he just wasn't ready for the question.

  • @BestPete8 Your "great" and my "great" seem to differ. I would consider a great movie something that makes me feel differently to a certain way or exposes a life or event to me that I wasn't aware of. A greta film is something i will one day show to my kids and tell them what a cultural impact this movie had on society at the time.

  • Never compromise.

  • I usually hate remakes but this remake was pretty cool. Much better than the horrible Halloween and Friday the 13th remakes.

  • I get the impression that he loves every movie.

  • I'm glad he admits that he will never be Freddy Krueger. For that, I have some respect for him.

  • @irisheyes0218 I think the original Freddy already showed plenty of torture and some sexuality(through his jokes and actions mainly) before they even went with the remake.

  • My thought on the remake aside, I do respect Jackie and what he tried to do. I think under the guidance of a real director with a solid script he would have been utterly brilliant, but irregardless he is such a congenial and humble person I find it very difficult to dislike him. He just has this wonderful down-to-earth just folks quality to him that makes him very accessible,

  • He seems like a great guy, I'd love to meet him. He was the only thing that drew me into Watchmen, and when I heard that he'd be playing Freddy I was very excited. So I watched Little Children which was great.

And yes, I loved him in the remake of Nightmare. He did fantastic.

  • he's so cute and soft spoken. he's so intense on screen as Rorschach and Freddy with his sensual growl of a voice...you'd never suspect the guy behind those characters was so timid. grrreat actor.

  • JEH tight

  • He seems like a great guy off screen! Really cool and his voice isn't how I imagined, I was so used to hearing him growl or talk really deep in a lot of films.

  • lol this got a 15% on rotten tomatoes hahhahahahahaha fuck you micheal bay!

  • The funny thing it Jackie Earle Haley actually auditioned for the role of Glen in the original A Nightmare on Elm Street

  • **** Jackie. Sry. iPhone edit lol

  • I have been a huge nightmare fan since I was a kid and I have to say I loved this remake. I like that Jakie did his own thing and I liked even more how dark they allowed the story to go. Originally Freddy was written to be a child molester but at the time it was to hot to use.

  • Any homeless male could have been what they wanted.. Sorry..

  • Jackie Earle Haley is a good actor and I am so glad he got an iconic character to give it a fresh look with his talent good job Jackie stick to it!!!

  • I like jackie earle haley. He is a wonderful actor. I like his work

  • omg he sounds so different from the role he played for Rorschach

  • @HappyYOOGS Well I know in between takes during the Watchmen he'd do push ups and scream really loudly. So when he played Rorschach his throat was probably all painful and scratchy.

  • guess the bad news bears wasnt on his mind

  • he scares me alot more than Jason

  • Loved the new film. Everything was improved - storyline, acting, fx, makeup, everything. I love Robert, but where he would make a line jokey, Jackie would make it as creepy as f*ck.

I'm not sure why it is getting bad reviews, since it is much better quality than most horror films. I guess it has to do with reviewers hating horror, and nostalgic fanboys who refuse to give it a chance. Yes, we know you like Robert, now stfu.

  • does anyone else think he looks/talks like david crowder?

  • Great list Jackie. I just saw your film today and I loved your performance. Your Freddy is a darker more vicious badass killer and it was great man. I hope you get to do a sequel. : )

  • I thought his Freddy was the best. He was just creepy and evil with no comedy and I think the fact that he was now a child molestor instead of a killer, makes him eviler.

  • I wish they showed some clips of Jackie actually IN Planet of the Apes, he was in the TV series (or something like that) when he was still a kid...

  • I actually think that Jackie Earle Haley's performance as Freddy was much more frightening than Robert Englund's. because while Englund's portrayal of Krueger was always cracking lame jokes, Jackie's performance was a lot more serious and realistic. like in the original with freddy cutting off his own fingers to try and scare Nancy. I mean come on.

  • @BTTFMovie

Thats exactly what they were trying to do with the new film.

England will always be the better freddy and the first.

JEH def made it his own and did a wonderful job at creating a darker freddy.

  • @BTTFMovie stfu jackass it's because of lame fags like yourslef their going to exploit and murder this franchise. go back and watch twighlt faggot

  • @danthetinman916 haha. ur so funny. just because I like this movie and JEH better than Robert Englund doesn't make me a fag. ur probly 12 years old or something. cuz only an immature little shit like u would get upset over someone else's opinion.

  • @BTTFMovie He cut his fingers off trying to scare Tina, not Nancy. It was 1984 and they had very little money and it was STILL scarier than this remake. As for Haley not joking around like Englund did....they lifted MANY lines from Englund's performances in the original films. He said many of the same lines that Englund said. The ultimate thing that works against Haley is the make-up. His make-up in this film looks horrible. Bayer should have kept him more in the dark.

  • @BTTFMovie do you not remeber the original, the very first!

  • @FearTheTristen yea. i remember the original. why?

  • It got 1 star from Roger Ebert, to be expected.

  • @bigboss25262 Well erbert is a whiny old retard...

  • @holymosesstudios Good point.

  • Nosferatu is really boring

  • His real voice is so different from his Rorschach voice

  • Whoa, that's his real voice?? I always imagined that his real voice is the one in Watchmen lol

  • @althoir88 it just shows how good he can change himself complety into a roll...i cant wait to see him in another film

  • He's awesome on the new show Human Target.

  • Losers? really?

  • last. N00b

  • du bist nicht stark!

  • first
