I "calculate" it by adding only small amounts of new track between each test run... and to be able to do a test run in the first place, I build the track back to the station using the shortest route possible and after each test run I demolish part of that temporary track as the actual track design comes together.

Just build them so the stations end in adjacent squares and select the "synchronize with adjacent stations" option. The middle stations need to be longer from the back end so you can fit the entrances and exits there.

Well I did get and average of 9 (on a scale of 4 to 10) from 8 courses of high school physics, but that included lots of stuff that had very little or nothing to do with rollercoasters, like thermodynamics and optics. You can learn a lot about coaster physics by just building different track elements in RCT games and seeing how they affect the train speed.

I just wanted to build my first quadruple coaster. Like I explain in the end of the video description, at first this was just 1 continuous junior coaster with 4 stations, but the intensity of it was way too high, so first I tried splitting it before rebuilding it as a hyper-twister.

There are 4 trains per coaster (total of 8), and the 9 minutes (9min 20 sec to be exact) is total time, not time from station to station, which is 2min 20secs on average.

The coaster I made worked the day I finished it for 2 mins, then I kept getting an error saying it can't be constructed must be closed when I try to build it as a prebuilt design. Yeah I used all kinds of custom fan-made scenery that came with the scenario. Install the UCES Time Machine Project and you'll get access to hundreds more of 'em.

Thanks! I'm guessing that you mean your coasters have very high ratings but no one will ride them? The intensity rating (the middle one) must be under 10 for anyone to dare ride a coaster or any other ride. There's no cheat for that, you just need to build rides that are less intense.

Build the middle stations longer from the end where the trains arrive. That way the outer tracks can either go under the entrances and exits of the middle stations, or around them.

What me suprised was the fact that both coasters almost have the same excitement. While the Carnivàle Mega Dual Twister 2 had more steep drops and looks more exciting than the other.

How did you do that?

I dunno... the excitement ratings were actually even closer at first. Only 0.05 in favor of Twister #1. The scenery made the difference grow to 0.25, but then the last minute changes i made to the track design for this contest made Twister #2's excitement go past #1's.

Carnivals are all about having a good time, so I though "Don't Stop Me Now" was very appropriate for the coaster that song on its own was too short so I decided to add Another One Bites the Dust because its from the same artist and has a cool beat that I could utilize. Now that Ive won the contest, it also has another meaning: PokeCoasterFreak is another one who bit the dust by losing to me in a coaster contest, LOL :D!

Thanks! You do it just like with a triple coaster. The middle stations need to be a couple of tiles longer from the rear end so the entrance end exit can be fitted there.

Dude, you should take a look at my oppenent's (PokeCoasterFreak) coaster... it's also a "double dueling" or "quad" coaster and totally awesome I might add. His coaster is infact the reason I chose to enter with this coaster. I just had to use my only quad (so far) to have any chance of beating his quad.

Thanks =), but I wouldn't put that much weight on custom scenery :p. The only difference to the scenery items used on your coaster, is that some of what I used weren't part of the original game, but instead were made by some talented fanguys.
