  • agreed ...it is definitely NOT The Manhattan Transfer and it does sound like Blossom Dearie on top...like a Blue Stars sound

  • As a kid, I remember being impressed that they could fit all the letters on the screen LOL

  • Too epic for words. I still remember this song.

  • @SamOliver4 So do I

  • While this version is kick ass, I'm wondering who has the clip of the twin boy and girl singing the alphabet song. Anyone? Could you post it please?

  • This is one of the most memorable videos for me. At age 20 I still fully remember the melody of the song and the urban animation.

  • HELL NO...NOT MANTRAN !!!

  • This is NOT the Manhattan Transfer. It IS a vocal jazz-ish group...sounds like Blossom Dearie on the top voice.

  • lol

  • ponni

  • The final skit to air as part of the show's original format. :(

  • That's very sad. :/ I wonder what made them change a tried-and-true formula?

  • the age margin of the show got smaller. Back in the 70's, the viewing ages were from 2-8. Now because there are a million channels and programs, the older kids watch other things. The age range now is 2-4 so they changed it to a preschool theme
