Sly Stallone wrote in a book about the making of the flim back in late 70's how he reacted when Bill Conti returned to present the film music on just a piano in an office - Sly's palms got all sweaty, his heart rate went through the roof - afterward, he said he had to wonder how this guy did such a great job of putting the character to music and he realized "of course - Bill Conti is Italian...".
That steadycam shot of him running up the steps is so exciting. Too bad the poster here ruined it with the stupid black and white, letter boxing, and everything else.

I recently visited Philly and photographed all the original sights, Rocky steps (aka Philadelphia Museum of Art Steps), Mick's Gym (now just a store)(North Front Street), Pet Shop (North Front Street), Rocky's first apartment (1818 E. Tusculum St.), Italian Market (South Philly) and Adrian's Restaraunt (aka Victor Cafe). All sites are real. His apartment, Mick's Gym and the Pet Shop are ALL actually in North Philly but the rest is either in Downtown Philly or South Philly.
Great Job Bro, you should make one for the whole series, maybe some scenes that are emotional, like a 10 min vid. if you ever make one, please let me know.
