"KING 5 News at 6:30" 2001 Talent Open

Stayed in Seattle for 1 week and watched KING 5 News at 6:30 PM after work, I like the way Dennis Bounds and Jean Enersen report the news. California newscasters talk fast, while Jean reports calmly.

KHOU and WHAS both use Giant Octopus graphics. I don't think any similarities between the Belo graphics were intentional.

Same here (currently unemployed) but have to get used to the cloudy, rainy and cooler climates of Seattle, since I live in the warm & sunny Cal. desert (Palm Springs area). I admit KING 5 is ahead of the game in television of the Pacific Northwest, in regards to news, video quality & TV ratings. But I may well check for my local TV stations to start out, not a good idea to fly to another city without much work experience and major city TV stations expect someone with abit more. +

The opening tune resembles ABC's opening tune. king5 and NWCN are the best regional news stations.
