Ok the spencer estate is not the mansion. It is the scene in RE5 where Jill and Chris fight wekser and Jill fake dies (this is all after CV)

It is unknown who Wesker is talking to when he says "we last met at the Spencer Estate".

RE1 takes place at the Spencer Mansion. There are scenes in the RE5 trailers which show Wesker, Spencer, and Chris in the same location, this may be the Spencer Estate, a different place to the Spencer Mansion.

I believe the Spencer Estate scenes occur after Code Veronica and before RE5.

There's no such thing as the Spencer Mansion in the games...The Spencer estate was the area seen in the first game, with the Mansion, Servants house and Research facility part of it

I just hope that there is some Umbrella involvement in Resident Evil 5. Like, more than in Resident Evil 4, I mean. If they just tell us to wait for Resident Evil 6 for all of the answers and the return of Umbrella, then I will be one unhappy camper...then again, I expect that is what they will do.

actually theres gonna be quite alot. Theres a scene in which you see some strange looking flowers growing over the Umbrella symbol (no doubt that it's the source of Progenitor)

and then theres the old man who looks like the one in Umbrella Chronicles...who is like 99% likely to be Ozwell E. Spencer.

considering RE5 is dealing with the origins of the Progenitor Virus as well as specifically dealing with Wesker who is now in possession of all that Umbrella used to own I'm sure it will be far superior to RE4 in that aspect.

Yes, I saw a trailer with Wesker in it. But, the instant he said "the last time we met was at the Spencer Estate, right" (or something like that), I wanted to throw my copy of Code: Veronica at the screen.

But was Sheva present? Unless they do major retconning, I don't think so. Since the only people present in the scene of the trailer in question are Wesker, Chris and Sheva, I assume that Wesker is speaking to Chris.

They aren't retconning anything and the only person we get to see in that scene besides Wesker is Excella, Chris and Sheva aren't even in the scene. Other characters in RE5 that Wesker saw at the mansion are Spencer, Jill, and possibly others we don't know about yet.

Really? Because I could've sworn Chris and Sheva were the ones in the scene...whoever the heck Excella is, I have no idea...and what was Spencer doing at the mansion? Wouldn't that be like...the first place the government would look for him? He went into hiding, and that would mean not at the mansion.

Finally, I highly doubt that Jill would be talked to in 5...let's just say an image or two were leaked that made the possibility vanish...

1. Excella is the leader of Tricell, the dark skinned woman that's Wesker's partner in RE5.

2. Spencer's Estate was the mansion in RE1, Umbrella wasn't a criminal in the public's eyes back then, he was just fine to go wherever he pleased.

3. Jill is a boss twice in RE5.
