  • I liked this. It gives you the solution to the ideal situation, and show that there are at least no simple rule-of-thumbs that are useful in all situations..

  • This video wants to show the viewer the geometry in the game of snooker. The problem is... it's not useful.

    Why not? Because in a game of snooker, you can't judge with your eye that an angle is precisely 43,5 degrees so you can shoot the ball with an X potting angle. There is side-spin, top-spin and back-spin involved in the game, so the potting-angle always differ from what it should be in theory.
