A 911 keeps the 911 shape, they won't take the 959 one.

I don't see why Porsche hasn't switched to the mid engine lay out. I know you hardcore Porsche fans would find that apocalyptic but I think it would really increase performance and therefore be more attractive to buyers. I get the whole back seat thing on the current 911's but who can fit in those? I also understand that it would cost a lot of money to change the design but I think it's definitely worth it

The back is covered up. You can't even see what it looks like. They have black tape covering the rear spoiler.
